Dear friends, social media has become a big part of our daily lives from communication and entertainment to business and education. It's a tool that connects us with the world at just a tap, but like every tool, its impact depends on how we use it.

Which platforms do I use the most and why?

Personally, I use WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram and Steemit the most. WhatsApp helps me stay in touch with my family and friends instantly. Facebook allows me to share thoughts, read news, and join communities. Instagram, on the other hand, is a great place to explore creativity through photos short videos.
I explore my writing skills using Steemit platform am so glad to be here trust me.

How much time do I spend on social media daily?

On average, I spend about 12 to 14 hours daily on these platforms. Most especially i spend time marketing my product i sell house (real estate here in Nigeria), I also scroll through updates, watch reels, reply to messages, and sometimes read motivational content. However, I try to balance my time to avoid addiction.

Can social media provide earning opportunities?

Absolutely! Social media is now a career platform for many. I remember my neighbor, a mother of three who lost her job during the COVID-19 lockdown. She turned to Instagram, learned how to bake through YouTube tutorials, and started posting her cake pictures. Today, her online cake business earns her more than her previous job ever did.

Another friend of mine, Chinedu, used YouTube to learn video editing. With his smartphone and free editing apps, he started helping content creators polish their videos. Now, he freelances from home and has been able to sponsor himself through college.

None of this would have been possible without the internet.

Is social media a friend or foe?

I believe social media is both it depends on how we use it actually. When used wisely, it is a powerful friend. A female friend of mine earns in 6 zeros as a Social Media Content Marketer, she made social media her friend and it accepted the relationship... friendship pays

It helps us learn new skills, connect with the world, and even earn a living.

But if misused excessive screen time, cyberbullying, spreading false information it becomes a foe, affecting our mental health and relationships.

Social media is a mirror of our intentions. Let’s choose to make it a tool for growth, positivity, and learning. Like any powerful tool, it should be handled with care.

I want to take this opportunity to invite @ngoenyi @ruthjoe and @starrchris

Thank You for your Time

Staying active on different platforms daily has become a habit for me. I manage posts, reply to comments, and track engagement using a reliable Social Media Panel that simplifies everything. From scheduling content to monitoring growth, the process keeps me organized and consistent. I usually dedicate set hours for interaction, making sure I don’t overdo it. This approach has helped build steady engagement and maintain a lively presence online. Whether it’s Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook, I stay connected without letting it take over my routine.
