Contest Alert ⚠️ 1 Picture 1 Story Week #92

In the quiet lobby of the banking hall, the hum of early morning activity started with staff attending to customers who came from deposit, withdrawal, and other services in the bank. The polished tiles echoed softly with the footsteps of many people, all drawn here by different purposes to resolve matters that need urgent attention. Some people came for an ATM card, others for the opening of an account, BVN capture, and many others, which marked a significant transition in their lives.

Close to the front of the room, a cluster of people gathered before the counter, waiting to be attended to, with some sitting down waiting for confirmation. In the banking hall, there was a sense of urgency in the air not chaos, but the tension of waiting.

Many arrived earlier hoping to be among the first line to be attended to, but we're disappointed. Mothers with children strapped to their backs, young students in uniform, elders leaning on canes, and workers all stand together with necessity and patience to be attended to by the bank officials.

At the end, which I saw aside the crowd, I saw a woman in a green hijab who stood at a high desk, filling out a form calmly. The woman was deliberate and focused with what she was doing, but at the same time, she was just preparing to join the queue from my perspective.

A fire extinguisher was mounted beside the woman on the wall. The room is filled with cool lighting and blue columns for efficiency, but is filled with the stresses of application, long hours of people standing and waiting to be attended to. Despite how people were seen standing in the banking hall, each of these persons has a chapter on the reason why they visited the banking hall.
