I love my name. I often wonder what people think when they give it to a child. Because our religion teaches us that a beautiful name is a gift from the parents to the child. Therefore, parents should give their child a meaningful and beautiful name. Most people, due to ignorance, only see the uniqueness of the name and consider it a fit for their child. However, if we look at the meaning of the name, it does not have any special meaning.
If a name is given in relation to a person, then something makes sense, but if a child's name is given simply by opening a book and seeing any word, then it is not a name. My father named me. All our siblings were named by our father. And all of them are named after the companions. After marriage my husband change my name. He also gave me his name and change my name from Tahira to Sadiq. So now I am Syed Hafsa Saadat

My name is also named after the name of Hazrat Hafsa (RA), the daughter of Hazrat Umar (RA), the best companion of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Hazrat Umar (RA) was a companion whose name made the whole world tremble. His glory and bravery were so famous that people who did not see him lived in awe of him. And he was given the title of Lion.
Whenever I searched for the meaning of my name in the dictionary, it always meant Hemla, the daughter of a lion.

This is the companion (RA) who was married to our beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). And she was a very sincere and devoted wife of the beloved Prophet (PBUH). Her status among the wives of the Prophet (PBUH) who sacrificed her life for him is very high.
This is the reason why my father gave me this name in love with you, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

I like the ratio of my name and my name very much. Its beauty is not only in its ratio but also in the way its letters are pronounced. Sometimes I have heard people mispronouncing my name, but even when they mispronounce it, they use meaningful and beautiful names. That is, most people change my name from Hafsa to Hafeza. I do not correct them on such a mistake because Hafeza is a very meaningful and beautiful name. Which means remembering everything.

Tell us about your full name on Steemit. Is it the same as your real name or different? Or how would you keep that username on Steemit?

I have kept my name on Steemit as my real name. The only reason for this is that I like my name very much. And I feel happy when people call me by my name. Especially when I am called for some work. I don't try to change my name on Steemit either. Some people don't like writing their name and some people don't like being called by their name, that's why they try to keep their nicknames and different other names, but that's not the case with me. I like my name very much and I would never want to change it.
