The Diary Game July 20, 2025 - Accompanying dek Raffa Playing
Hello, good morning and happy greetings to all my Steemian friends. How are you today? I hope you are all in good health and always under the protection of Allah SWT, so you can carry out all your activities well. Alhamdulillah, I am back to share my daily activities on this happy day.
Sunday is one of the most anticipated days for many people, especially students. Because the day, known in Islam as Sunday, has been designated a national holiday by the Indonesian government since ancient times. Therefore, Sundays are closed at schools and offices. This applies not only to government offices but also to most other private offices. Everyone considers Sunday a day off from various formal activities. It is called Sunday because it is the first day in the Arabic calendar, Sunday meaning one or the first. On Sundays, most people spend their time vacationing and going out with their beloved families.
Despite Sunday being a holiday, my activities continued as usual. I woke up to the sound of the call to prayer echoing from the loudspeaker of the Babul Huda Panggoi Mosque. Its melodious and clear voice roused me from a deep sleep. After performing the obligatory morning prayer in congregation at the mosque, I immediately returned home. I took advantage of the break by lying down again with Raffa. At seven o'clock, my son woke up. Then I invited him for a morning walk. I walked along the morning streets, which were still relatively quiet. Understandably, on Sundays, the atmosphere wasn't as bustling as other days, which are quite busy from early morning.
After walking almost two kilometers, when we were already feeling tired, we stopped for a moment at the Bandara Kupi coffee shop. While resting, I ordered a black coffee and a cup of hot Milo for Raffa. I relaxed with my son in the coffee shop located in the Meunasah Mesjid area. I also took advantage of the relaxing time by updating myself online. After resting and relaxing, I left the cafe to go home, picked up by my older brother. At home, I played with Raffa until midday prayer time. Then, I prepared to head to the mosque when the call to prayer sounded.
After the midday prayer, I went straight home for lunch and played with Raffa again. Shortly afterward, my son fell asleep, and I took a moment to lie down next to Raffa's swing. As afternoon prayers approached, I woke up when the call to prayer sounded, signaling prayer time. In the afternoon, I took my son to the playground at Hiraq Field with his mum. Raffa was so happy to be able to play freely on the field in downtown Lhokseumawe. After he was satisfied, I took him home. From then on, I just stayed home until nightfall, doing my usual activities.
That concludes my activities on this happy day, and thank you for the continued support of all my Steemit friends everywhere.
Regards,
