One Picture And One Story Week #92
Ana also worked in the operations department of a small airline company. Both their fathers were friends, and it was their decision that Anik and Ana would be a perfect match for each other.
Ana had no objection to her father's decision, but Anik had accepted the bond of marriage under pressure from his father. Ana had taken a week's leave from the office. First of all, she went to the kitchen and made tea, and then she made a plan to decorate the house while sipping tea.
When Anik returned in the evening and stepped into the house, looking at the neatly decorated house, he wondered if this was the same house that was messy before his marriage. The smell of food was increasing his hunger.
Ana said cheerfully, "How was your day?"
"Fine," Anik reached the dining table after giving a brief answer. He ate food quickly and went straight to bed. A woman wants at least a few words of praise, if not much, but Ana did not get even those. This routine continued for the next five days.
On the sixth day, Ana stopped Anik before going to sleep. "Will you please talk for 5 minutes?"
"I want to sleep," Anik said in his usual style.
"Please, I also have to go to the office from tomorrow. Take out 5 minutes today."
"Tell me, what do you want to say?" Anik said reluctantly.
"Are you angry with me or with the marriage?"
"What do you mean?"
"You know what I want to know?"
"Please talk to Daddy about whose decision it was."
"But you have gotten married?" Ana now got angry too.
"I know. Anything else?" Anik said in irritation.
Ana understood that the matter was going to get worse instead of getting resolved. She said, "Was this marriage was not with your consent?"
"No. Anything else?"
"Okay, but I have a request for you."
"What?"
"Can we live like friends for a few days?"
"What do you mean?" Anik was surprised.
"I have an interview after one month. I will get my license, and then I will go to America for further studies for 3 years. During that time, make a decision that seems appropriate to you. Believe me, you will not face any problem."
Anik did not have any objection to this. Then both of them started having breakfast together. They also started going out in the evening. Hotels, restaurants, and even cinemas. Ana used to dress like normal girls and not like a newlywed bride. Seeing them together, one could think of them as a loving couple, but definitely not husband and wife.
Now, be it Cafe Coffee Day or Kake Di Hatti, every place was a place of conversation for friends, and Ana had tons to talk about. Slowly Anik also started getting interested in her talks. He also started opening up his heart.
One night Anik came late from office. He was very hungry. When he looked at home, Ana was studying. There was no sign of food.
"What happened to food today?" he asked.
“Sorry, I forgot everything while studying today.”
“That’s fine… But what now?”
“We can do one thing,” Ana got an idea. “I have heard that snacks and tea are available till midnight under the next flyover. Why not try it there?”
“What?” Anik’s mouth remained open in surprise.
“Yes, many people from my office keep going there; today we can also try.”
“Okay, change your clothes. Let’s go.”
“Oh, why change clothes? I will go in a tracksuit. It will be good on the bike… Who knows us there?”
This was a completely different experience for Anik. Finally the day came when Ana had the interview. After finishing the household chores early in the morning, she quickly left for DGCA. Her other friends were already present there.
Ana's answers made the FID happy. He said, "Go and tell your friends that you have cleared."
Ana came out running and took off her tie in a filmy style and said, "Hey guys, we are all cleared."
Ana was thinking whether to take a bus or an auto when she noticed that Anik was waiting for her. Ana said, "You didn't go to the office today?"
"Congratulations, Ana. Your hard work has paid off. Come, let's go home. I have come to pick you up," Anik started the bike, smiling.
Ana quietly sat behind him. After reaching home, they had dinner, and both of them slept for a while. In the evening, when Ana was going to the kitchen, Anik stopped her, “No need to worry, we will eat outside or order food today.”
“Okay,” Ana came to her room and started packing her bag.
“What is this? Are you going somewhere?” Anik asked.
“Yes, I did not even realize how one month passed with you. Now I will do the rest of the work after going to Daddy.
s house. And from there I will go to America after one week.”
“So you are leaving me?”
“No, today is the last night for the permission I had asked from you, Ana said, smiling.”
“I know, Ana, I am guilty of you. But can I make a request to you today?” Anik said with a choked voice.
“Yes, how can I help?”
“We stayed like friends for one month. Can this friendship turn into love now? Can you forgive me?''
That night Ana went from being a friend to a girlfriend and then from a girlfriend to a wife in just a few moments.

I really enjoyed reading the story of Anik and Ana First, friendship developed between the two husband and wife, and then friendship turned into love.
Anq had no objection to her father's decision, but Anik had objection to her father's decision. We should not get married under anyone's pressure. Marriage happens only once in a lifetime and we should do it by thinking to ourselves. Yes, parents should make our decisions. But in the matter of marriage, parents must include the consent of the boy and the girl.
No matter how much understanding there is between husband and wife, there are some things that bring them closer to each other. A girl always tries to save her relationship. And finally, his hard work pays off. I like your story. Good luck for the contest.
