1 Picture 1 Story Week #84

Aarya was an adventurous girl, and she had heard about a mysterious house, so one day, Aarya, along with her friends Ani and Meera, decided to solve the mystery of this house.

 
It was evening when the three friends reached near the house. The walls of the house were covered with moss, the windows were broken, and a rusty chain was hanging on the door. When Aarya opened the door, a cool breeze hit their bodies.

As soon as they entered the house, they smelled a strange smell. There were spiderwebs in the house, and a thick layer of dust had settled on the floor.

Ani joked, “Looks like it hasn’t been cleaned for a long time.” But Meera did not pay attention to her. Her attention was on the paintings on the walls of the house, which seemed to be from ancient times.

Arya pointed towards the pictures and said, “Don't you think these pictures want to say something?”

The three started looking at the pictures carefully. There was a story hidden in the pictures, which was about a rich family that once lived in this house. But one day, all the members of that family suddenly disappeared, and after that day, this house became famous as “The House of Shadows.”

Then those three saw a staircase, which led to the basement. Without thinking, the three of them headed towards the basement and saw that there was a small room in which there was an old wooden table and a dusty old book kept on it.

Arya picked up that book, and as soon as she opened it, a strong gust of wind came, and as there was not much light in the basement, Ani switched on her torch and said, Looks like this book is the key to the mystery of this house.”

It started raining heavily outside, and then the three realized that they were close to an unknown mystery. Aarya turned the pages of the book and found that some old mantras were written in it.

However, after the adventure of Aarya, Ani, and Meera, the “house of shadows” had now become like a normal house. The villagers now went near that house without any fear.

But the mystery of this story was not yet completely solved.

One day, when Aarya was resting in her house, she had a strange dream. She saw that she was again in the same basement, and a mysterious voice was calling her.

The voice was saying, “The ultimate face of truth is yet untold.”

Aarya woke up confused. She understood that there was another aspect of this mystery, which was important to know.

The next day, Aarya told Ani and Meera about her dream. They decided together that they would visit the old house once again. This time, they were more cautious and prepared.

After entering the house, they inspected the tunnel again. This time, they noticed that there was another door at the end of the tunnel, which they had missed earlier.

There was a new inscription on the door, which said, “To know the truth, one has to go deep into the basement.”

The three opened the door and found themselves in another chamber. There was a lake in the middle of that chamber, with clear water.

A stone was placed on the bank of the lake: “Whoever sees his reflection in the water of this lake will have to face the truth of their heart.”

Arya was the first to go near the lake and saw her reflection. She remembered some of her old mistakes, which she had never accepted. She realized that she had to correct those mistakes.

Ani and Meera also saw their shadows and understood their mistakes.

This story taught them a lesson: that facing the truth and admitting our mistakes is the real bravery. The three friends shared their hearts with each other and forgave each other for their mistakes.

As their reflections in the lake water cleared, new inscriptions appeared on the walls of the chamber. These inscriptions contained prophecies about the future of the village.

The prophecies said, "If the people of the village follow the path of truth and honesty, the village will always be prosperous."

They taught the people of the village that nothing is greater than truth and honesty.

One day, Aarya found another ancient book in the old library of the village. The book was in very bad condition, but it contained some information that was related to their past experiences. There was a mysterious sign in the book that pointed to a treasure that they had not discovered before.

Aarya told Ani and Meera about this. The three decided to go to that house again so that they could get to the bottom of this new mystery.

They found the treasure, and over time, the village prospered. Aarya, Ani, and Meera proved that even the biggest mysteries can be solved with truth, courage, and friendship.
