Weekly Contest - Best Diary Game | Preparing The Cassava To be Fried.

Hello Steemains, it is my pleasure to share my day preparing the cassava for it to be processed into Garri. Agriculture known to back the course of man's survival is a wonderful thing to partake in, providing food for human consumption and raw materials for industries to convert into finished goods, for example, the couch we make use of is gotten from the wood which comes from converting trees to them in a process called timber. Without agriculture, man would hardly survive.

Today was such a wonderful day, starting with thanking God for the day and performing our house chores before heading to the farm to pill the cassava that had already been harvested earlier yesterday. As we got to the farm, we began by pilling the cassava, which my brother had already kept in a particular position. We started pulling at 9:00 a.m. because they were a lot of cassava to pill to prevent us from leaving the farm late. As soon as we started pilling the cassava, my mom headed to our farm to harvest more cassava; I and my brothers got angry. We had to perform extra work because we knew that she was about to get a lot of cassava, but to our greatest surprise, she didn't bring much.

checked the time and discovered that we had pilled about 50% of the harvested cassava, this made me happy knowing that the work was going fast and smooth without any complications, at that very moment I then went into our farm to observe and check on our crops, I found out that all of them where growing as they were supposed to, we planted maize, yams, cassava and okra including some other crops. After seeing that our crops were in good shape, I went back to pill again; I got there and saw everyone eating but continued to pill till I ate at 2:30 p.m.

As I was eating, my brothers and mother were pilling the leftover cassava; when I was finished eating, I joined them, and we finished pilling the cassava at exactly 4:19 p.m. After the pilling of the cassava. The next step was for us to start washing the cassava. Unfortunately, we forgot to bring the bag we had to keep and fit the cassava in after we were done washing it was on this note that my mother asked my brother to return home to get the required items to begin the washing, my brother without hesitation left for home to get what he was asked to bring.

My mother then went back to the farm to harvest some more to pill to increase the amount of Garri that would be produced after frying it; I joined her in pilling, and at the point, we were almost done pilling it, my brother came the bags he was asked to bring. I then took the bags, lay them on the ground, took the basin we had, and began to wash the cassava, while my brother continued by helping my mother in pilling the cassava. When I was almost done with the washing, my mother told me to call the cyclist who helped us carry our cassava to come and take them to the fryer.

I was calling the man my brother and my mother were packing the cassava into the bags and taking them to a clear site where a motorcycle could enter easily; after I was done calling the cyclist with him assuring me that he was coming, I continued washing the cassava. Once I was done washing the cassava, the cyclist came immediately. As he came we had to help him lift the bags containing the cassava onto the motorcycle, as I and my brothers were helping the cyclist my mother went and got the remaining cassava which didn't enter the two 100kg bags we brought, as my mother left to get the left cassava, the cyclist told me that he was glad he didn't see that dog 🐕 that usually pursue him while he was riding his motorcycle, explaining to my that the dog was a pain to him.

When my mother brought the bag, he took it to the fryer and came back again to get the other bag, which will be grounded at the fryer and fried tomorrow before it can fully be called Garri.
