◉ What’s your opinion on the rise of AI?
AI is an acronym for Artificial Intelligence. AI means a set of computer programs or software applications installed in a machine which gives it the ability to perform tasks or functions that are required to be performed by humans. For example, we have smart assistants like Google which perform tasks and answer questions based on the instructions given. Another example is Natural language processing.
The rise of Artificial Intelligence has significantly benefited human beings across all sectors of life. It has taken over some jobs that human beings are supposed to do, which require a lot of thinking, time-consuming, high cost and so on. Today, many people have taken advantage of artificial intelligence (AI) to defraud others and perpetrate evil, which is a threat to us, but looking at the generality of what artificial intelligence does, it is more of a tool that brings succour to human beings than a threat.

◉ What are the pros and cons?
The pros of artificial intelligence (AI)

• It saves cost: Artificial Intelligence can significantly reduce costs for companies or businesses. For example, Artificial Intelligence can perform the tasks of 10 people, which helps to reduce the cost of labour.
• Accessibility: Artificial Intelligence can perform tasks throughout the day and week without getting tired. Thereby making it easy for everyone to access at any time.
• Maximum productivity: Artificial intelligence (AI) can carry out tasks repeatedly and produce the expected result within the shortest time.
• It prevents and detects fraud: An Artificial intelligence model can suspect fraudulent activities and raise an alarm to enable the law enforcement agency to act immediately.
• It helps in reducing errors that may occur from human beings when performing tasks.

The cons of Artificial Intelligence (AI)

• Unemployment: Artificial intelligence can cause people to lose their jobs since it can perform the job of more than one person at a time.
• Laziness/decrease in skills: Dependence on Artificial Intelligence can cause laziness and loss of abilities in humans.
• Cost of application: It requires a huge amount of money to hire the services of an expert on Artificial Intelligence to develop the software, implement and manage it.

◉ Do you use AI in your life? Elaborate.
Yes, I use Artificial intelligence almost every day through my Android phone. I use search engines like Google to retrieve information or solve certain problems. I also use Facebook, which also has elements of Artificial Intelligence, and lastly, the Android phone has an application which helps in editing and correcting my sentences and spellings.

Conclusion
