1 Picture 1 Story Week #82. Few Moments Before The Disaster

Hello everyone i hope we are all doing well. Im glad to have seen this contest today made by @suboohi. I found this contest in one of @disconnect posts and I'd like to give a big shout out to the guy for making it possible to find all steemit contests in one place.
The sun was rising slowly, the dew was fresh and so was the air, he woke up on a good side of bed showing that the morning was a good one. He had his bathe, brushed his teeth and got dressed for work. "This is going to be a good day", he said while he buttoned up his shirt and put on his shoes. His day at work started early. Everything was going well, he went out on his company bike to speak to customers who owe the microfinance which is normal duties.
"Good morning", he said to them with a smiling face while riding on his bike. "The day is going just fine as i planned it", he said. Bob was a microfinace bank worker, his job was to assess clients who want to collect loans and also speak to clients who owe the microfinance bank. After a few talks with some store owners, he was on his way to meeting his next cient when he dicided to stop for a break just moments after raking a picture of him by his company owned bike.
So as he was taking break, leaning on his bike he didn't notice a truck which had a failed brakes system heading his was. Luckily for him he was not close to the road. The truck grazed him, tearing off his shirt, and leaving him wounded on the road. It almost pulled him along to his death. He laid on the floor, confused as to what happened and seeing people rushing to him some of them were screaming , they were all scared, they helped him up and managed to get him to a hospital that was near by.
He got to the hospital and got treatment "the wound was just a flesh wound, you are lucky to be alive", said the doctor who treated him. After leaving the hospital he heard that that truck that grazed him, killed 2 innocent people just a few minutes after knocking him down. The devastation he had, the fear that engulfed him and also the gratefulness were all mixing in his mind. He thought to himself that if he had just been a few centimeters in the road, that truck would have killed him. He was asked to take a day off but he refused saying that he'd rather end the day than let this accident keep him inside.
He finally ended the day without any accidents, though he had been scarred by what he experienced some hours ago. So he made a prayer for those who lost their lives to that unstable truck. The truck driver was arrested for not properly inspecting his truck before going out for work and for killing those 2 people and the justice was served.
