The Diary Game: My October First Day Of Activities 01/10/2025

Greetings to you all, I want to share with you my first day of activities as I entered the month of October 2025.

The morning time was a wonderful moment as the month of October just set in like a joke, and seriously it was an Independence celebration of my beloved country Nigeria at 65, so I woke up very early, unlike every other day. I pray to God as I have seen another new month in the year 2025. It was a prayer of thanksgiving. After that it was 7 o'clock AM. Everywhere was busy; secondary school students were preparing to go to the stadium for a march past in respect to our country's Independence Day celebration, so I didn't go to work because I was on a holiday.

I took my bath and dressed up to meet with my friend that has a Lexus Jeep who wanted to take me out for our country's Independence Day celebration, so I arrived at his house that morning, and his car was parked outside. I called, and he replied that he is not around, that he has an emergency and is travelling outside the state.

That morning as I was coming back to the house, I passed along the market road. There was an auction sale of shoes, so I branched and picked some legs of shoes. The person was doing it because of the Independence Day Celebration of my country, Nigeria, at 65.
I spend 15,000 there, and I go to the house.

In the afternoon I was still in the spirit of celebration as I was sitting somewhere to refresh my life and feel happy, so I sat down at one of the restaurants that are selling good food and soft drinks. I bought a plate of jollof rice with fish and a soft drink and ate it. After having my independent day of relaxation, I paid the owner of the restaurant and went out. I started going to the house; along the way, I bought some ingredients that I will use to cook my food for dinner in one small food store. I bought ingredients for soup making.

In the evening, I was relaxing at home for some time, so immediately at 6:00 pm on the dot, I started cooking my dinner, soup and garri. I cooked melon soup, one of my favorite recipes that I like eating. By 7 o'clock pm, I was through with everything. I ate and took my bath because I had been stressed out since morning.

The day was so great as I joined others to celebrate my country's 65th birthday, Nigeria, and also took care of other of my personal activities. What a happy day of independence celebration!
