Contest Announcement:Judging from afar!
Assalam o alaikum.
Hello my steemit friends i hope you are all doing well and enjoying your day. I am very happy to take part in this week’s contest called “Judging from afar.” This is a very important topic because sometimes we all judge others too quickly without knowing their full story. I will share my personal experience and answer the questions one by one. I hope you enjoy reading my post and learn something from it.
Have you judged someone wrongly before? Tell us the story.
Yes i have judged someone wrongly before. It happened during my college days. There was a girl in my class who always sat alone. She never talked to anyone and she wore simple clothes. She looked serious and never smiled. I thought she was proud and didn’t want to make friends. I didn’t even try to talk to her and told my friends to stay away from her too. One day our teacher gave us a group project and she was added to our group. At first I was not happy but i had no choice. When we started working together i was surprised. She was kind helpful and very intelligent. She shared amazing ideas and worked hard. After some time i became comfortable with her and asked her why she always looked so quiet and sad. She told me her mother had passed away just a few months ago and she was still feeling broken inside. That day i felt really bad. I had judged her wrongly without knowing her pain. She was not proud—she was just heartbroken. I said sorry to her and told her how i misunderstood her. She forgave me and smiled. From that day we became good friends i learned a big life lesson that day.
Do you think it is right to judge someone maybe because of the appearance without knowing what the person is up to?
No i do not think it is rights to judge someone by their appearances. We never know what is happening in someone’s life s person may look angry or sad but deep inside they may be going through a lot. Some peoples are quiet not because they are rude but because they are shy or hurting. Judging someone from afar can hurt them and also stop us from understanding them better. Everyone has a story and we should never make quick opinions.
What do you do when you realize that you were judging someone wrongly?
When i realize i judged someone wrongly i feel sorry and try to fix it. I say sorry to the person and explain that i didn’t understand their situation before i also try to be kind and friendly to them. Accepting our mistake is very important. It helps in building a better relationship. We all make mistakes but what matters is learning from them and becoming better people.
Do you think people's appearance matters?
To me a person’s appearance is not the most important thing. What matters more is the person’s heart behavior and actions. A kind and honest person is always more beautiful than someone who only looks good from outside. Yes in some jobs or events appearance may play a small role but in daily life it should not be the reason to judge someone. What is inside the heart matters the most.
Thank you so much for reading my post. I truly believe that judging others from afar is never right. We should try to understand people before making opinions. Kindness patience and respect can make the world a better place. Let’s all promise to stop judging and start loving and understanding others more. This way we can all live happily and peacefully together.
