My bargaining tactics
Greetings, love & respect to all of my steemian friends. |

I am @saifuddinmahmud from Bangladesh. There is a beautiful and amazing contest. The contest name is My bargaining tactics organised by @okere-blessing. I am going to share my experience. I hope everyone will like my post.
What is bargaining in business?
Bargaining in business is a way of determining the price of any product based on a conversation or opinion between the buyer and the seller. A buyer went to buy a product in a shop. The seller said its price was 500 taka but the buyer offered him a counter offer and he said no, I will pay the price of this product 200 taka. The seller said no, I will take it for 400 taka. The buyer again made a counter offer that I will pay 300 taka. Hence, based on the opinions of 2 people, its price was determined as 350 taka. This price determination is called bargaining.
Are you a good bargainer? What tactics do normal use?
I think I am a good bargainer. But I bargain based on location. When I go to buy something in a supermarket, I bargain a lot. Because the price of the products is very high. The strategy I usually use is that whenever I go to any supermarket or shop, I try to buy more than one thing, so that it is easier to bargain with the shopkeeper. He lowers the price in order to sell more products.
Are you of the opinion that all goods should be under bargain or under a fixed price? Explain.
I think that it is better to buy and sell products through bargaining. By doing this, the shopkeeper gets the right price for his goods. The buyer is also satisfied with the goods. If a fixed price is fixed, the buyer thinks that the price of the goods is high, so he refrains from buying. Seeing many goods and fixed prices, doubts arise in the mind of the buyer, so he does not buy the goods. Sellers sometimes adopt dishonest methods. They hide the real price and give a higher price. So I personally think that if you can buy goods through bargaining, the chances of being cheated are less. Both the buyer and the seller are satisfied with the purchase and sale of goods.
Have you fallen victim of buying things higher due to not knowing how to bargain?
Yes, I once fell victim to this situation. One day, I bought a rice cooker from a supermarket. The price written on the packet was 3670 taka. The shopkeeper gave me a discount of 170 taka and sold it for 3500 taka. A few days later, one of my colleagues bought the same rice cooker for 3000 taka. I asked him how he bought it for so little. He said, "Brother, the price is written on the packet, but you have to bargain to get it at a lower price." I had to buy the product at a higher price without bargaining that day.
