Method of verifying lifestyle
I am @hudamalik20 from Pakistan. I hope you all are doing great in your life. Today I am participating in this contest Method of verifying lifestyle organized by @memamun in Steem For Lifestyle.
1. How do you spend your time every day?
As a Muslim, I always try to pray five times a day. My day starts early in the morning because of Fajr prayer. I set my alarm for around 4:30 Am and wake up to do wudu (ablution). After that, I offer my Fajr prayer and then make dua (supplication) and read some Surahs.
I also recite the Holy Quran every day and after that, I have made it a habit to read Surah Yaseen regularly. One of my friends told me that reading Surah Yaseen daily brings blessings and ease in life from Allah. After completing my prayers and recitation, I go back to sleep.

Later in the morning, I wake up again around 9 or 10 AM. I go to the kitchen and make breakfast for myself. After breakfast, I help with some housework. Around 12:30 PM, it’s time to get ready for university. I reach university on the bus, and as soon as we arrive, it’s time for Dhuhr prayer, so I offer my prayer in the prayer room.
After that, I attend two lectures. Then we get a break during Asr prayer time. After the break and another lecture, I return home around 6:30 PM. Once I reach home, I wash my face and hands and get fresh. Then it’s time for Maghrib prayer, so I pray and then have dinner. I also help my mother in the kitchen after dinner.
Later in the evening, I spend some time on my mobile, mostly on Steemit where I create posts if I find a good topic. Sometimes I watch TV for a while. At night, I pray Isha and before sleeping, I always read Surah Muk bczz it protects us from the punishment of the grave.
2. What is the most important goal in your life?
Earlier in my life, I used to think a lot about this world only. But now, my thinking has changed. The most important goal in my life is to prepare for the next life the life after death. I try my best to become closer to Allah and improve my connection with Him. I want to live in a way that makes Allah pleased with me.
Before, I used to pray only the obligatory (Fardh) prayers, but now I try to offer Sunnah prayers as well. I also try to pray Nafl (optional) prayers to increase my worship. I want to do as much ibadah (worship) as I can.
Along with that, another very big goal in my life is to make my parents proud. I want to study well and become successful for them. I believe it is our duty to focus on both religious and worldly education. I want to fulfill all their dreams, especially one dream that is very close to my heart I want to take my parents for Umrah one day. I pray to Allah day and night to make this possible.
If you are reading this post, I kindly request you to pray for me, so that one day I can take my parents to Umrah and make them proud and happy.
3. Which habits do you want to change?
Alhamdulillah, I have already improved myself a lot compared to how I was before. There were many habits that I didn’t like about myself, and with time, I worked on them and changed them. I always try to become a better version of myself.
However, there is still one habit that I really want to change and that is being impatient. Sometimes when I pray and ask something from Allah, I wish it to happen quickly. I keep praying again and again, hoping that my duas are accepted fast. But I am learning that Allah answers our prayers at the best time, not always when we want.
Still, I find myself getting a bit restless or worried while waiting. So, I want to change this habit and become more patient and content with the timing of Allah’s plans. I want to stay calm and trust that whatever Allah gives, He gives at the right time and in the best way.
My goal is to have a life full of peace (aafiyat) and to be grateful in every situation, no matter what happens. I pray that I become stronger in my faith and keep trusting Allah’s timing in all matters.
4. Is your lifestyle bringing you closer to Allah or the Creator?
Yes, Alhamdulillah, I can honestly say that my lifestyle is helping me get closer to Allah. These days, I try my best to spend more time with Allah rather than just spending time with people or getting busy in worldly things. Whenever I am free, I like to remember Allah, read duas, and keep saying “Astaghfirullah” on my tongue.
Before, I used to watch songs and movies, but now I’ve changed my focus. I follow Islamic scholars on social media, and I try to learn from their talks. They motivate me to do zikr, make duas, and follow the sunnah. I find real peace and comfort in doing this, and I can feel that my duas are being accepted, Alhamdulillah.
One more thing I started is reading the Qur’an with Tafseer (translation and explanation). I have the Islam 360 app on my phone, so whether I’m outside or at university, I try to read the Qur’an with meaning every day. Through this, I’ve learned many things I never knew before. It has helped me understand Islam better and brought me even closer to Allah.
I also try to read the morning, evening, and night azkar (duas) daily. These small things have made a big difference in my life, and I feel blessed to be walking on this path. I just pray that Allah keeps me steadfast and helps me grow even more in faith.
That's it from today’s blog. I hope you liked it. With best wishes. Now I would like to invite:
