Gram Banglar Mela, A festival seen with my own eyes

Our Gram Banglar Mela is an extraordinary festival, and I felt the pulse of this life with my own eyes. I recently went to a fair, and that experience is still etched in my mind. It felt as if the entire village was celebrating a festival on a spring day.

A few days ago, I went to a fair with my friends. It was an amazing feeling to go to a fair with my friends! We were all together after a long time. As soon as I reached the fair, I felt like I was back in my childhood days. There was so much noise, colorful shops, and crowds of people all around. The taste of fuchka, chatti, and jilipi seemed to have increased even more.

I was standing in front of a long table in one corner of the fair. The table was decorated with bottles and packets of various colors. When I saw it, I realized that it was a fun game stall, where people were testing their luck. Such games are very popular at our fair. This simple canopy made of bamboo and tarpaulin also stood with a different beauty. The microphone was playing lively songs and announcements, which created a great atmosphere at the entire fair.

Rows of shops were set up across a large part of the fair grounds. These shops made of bamboo and tarpaulin sold toys, food, and various hobby items. Seeing the people coming and going, it seemed how important these fairs are in the lives of the villagers. The sky was a bit cloudy that day, so a calm and serene atmosphere was created at the fair.

Another sight fascinated me - rows of colorful balloons looking up at the sky. The balloons in different shapes like ducks, boats, horses, and birds looked so beautiful that it seemed like a piece of cloud had descended to the ground. The balloon seller's stall was so crowded that I realized how big an attraction it was for children.

While walking through the fair, my eyes were caught by a shop. The seller had arranged all the tempting pickles and fillings in small red bowls. My mouth watered just seeing them. Such traditional foods are what make our fair unique. The view of the green fields in the background made this rural environment even more beautiful.
