Good day everyone and happy new week to you all from this end ❤️

On February 14 i took this golden opportunity for learning skill for free, a took of #3,000 naira was required for registration. It’s was a promo for everyone who want to grab the opportunity. I’m happy I wasn’t I wasn’t left out though I had doubts but my friends pressure me to register and be apart of it that it will really be of help to me.

The opportunity was for all the students of university of Uyo (uniuyo) starting from level 100 to final level.
We were asked to pick 3 choices from the skill we would love to learn. My first choice was pastries and baking and I’m happy I was selected. We are 17 students in all.

Last night the news got in that we will be having orientation today by 3:00 pm and also to meet with our trainer.

By 2:30 pm was getting ready to leave for the orientation, I was anticipating this moment and I didn’t want to missed it. By 2:50pm I was ready and leaving the house. (The sun was too much )

I had to wait for my friends, one of my friends came in late and we left for the venue which we didn’t know when it was located. We had a long walk and we asked people for directions, finally we got to the venue by 4:03 pm the orientation was already on going.

We were able to meet up with few things and each trainer introduced his/herself to their students.

After the orientation we took pictures. Our trainer collect our names and numbers. We will be kicking off the skill training this Friday (28 March 2025) and I just can’t wait.
I’m feeling so happy right now.

Getting back home by 6:03 pm was stuck in an hold up at itam market, it’s was annoying. I just didn’t know why and what causes the hold-up cause today isn’t itam market day the road was supposed to be free and less busy.
After few minutes the vehicles starts moving and I got home feeling tired but happy 😊
