Weekly Drawing Contest 48 | Drawing Of Fan

I am once again happy to take part in Weekly Drawing Contest 48. This week’s topic is “Drawing of Fan.” A fan is a very common and useful item in every home. It keeps us cool during hot weather and helps us to stay comfortable. For this contest, I decided to make a pencil sketch of a table fan.

Below, I will explain the steps I followed to complete my drawing:

🔹 Step 1: Basic Outline

I started by making a simple outline of the fan using a pencil. First, I drew a circular shape for the main body where the blades would be placed. Then I added the base and stand to give the fan a strong structure.

🔹 Step 2: Blades Drawing

In the next step, I worked on the blades of the fan. I pictured three blades inside the round, presenting them a curving design so they feel natural. I applied a black shade of pencil to form the blades stand out easily.

🔹 Step 3: Adding Details

After finishing the blades, I added the outer circle lines and the grill bars. I also drew the control buttons on the base and a power cord on the side to make the drawing more realistic.

🔹 Step 4: Shading and Final Touch

In the last step, I carefully shaded the fan to give it depth and dimension. The blades were shaded darker, while the stand and base had lighter shades. Finally, I darkened the plug and wire to make the drawing complete.

🌟 My Thoughts

I truly adored forming this sketch because it reminded me of how imperative a fan is in our day-to-day lives. The shadowing part was grueling , but it offered the drawing a neat and practical look. I'm satisfied with my trouble and happy to share it with you all.
