A little bit of crochet and Sunset
Hello, everyone! I hope that we are all in God's hand and mercy.
Today, the Philippines had suffered so much, Just on the first day of the month, a 6.9 magnitude earthquake has struck the middle part of the country; then a fire broke in Cagayan de Oro city burning many house and a few hours later, hundreds of houses in Davao, not to mention the fire that broke in the school in Maramag
It was a sad entry of the month and I hope that God still watches over us and his hand our cover.
Anyway, here is what i normally do when I have a spare time especially at work. I crochet and since I had enough of making wearables that takes too long to finish, I tried amigurumi. Amigurumi is a Japanese word that means creating small stuffed toys. I wanted to make toys for my kids, and also, they sell higher. Crochet is not just a passion for me and I want to make it my business someday.
The materials I have were Indophil yarns and generic hooks and since amigurumi needs tight stitches, I used my IMIA hook, the one smaller than the rest and it fits to do the work just fine.
Since I am still learning this craft, I went to search tips online; I already knew the basics of crochet so making this is not so hard for me.
To start with my project, I made a magic ring and added six single crochet s there and on the next round, I added two single crochets in each top and then on the third round, an alternate singe crochet and two single crochet. I continued on this until six round ans added a single crochet in each stitch after.
I liked the result of my work and was satisfied with it.
The day went too fast and so the sunset came, I took my time capturing the wonderful sights up in the sky. The are so amazing to see.
Orange clouds and darkening sky makes just a perfect evening sky; romantic even but too sad I am at my workplace thus I took photos to share with my lovely husband when I went home.
He too takes pictures of wonderful sunset skies and show them to me; his pictures taken were far better than mine since he is free to move around and see the sunsets on an open space.
Sunsets are my most awaited time of day, always. This will be all for now my friends, keep safe and stay kind always.
