El Amor - Mockup Instagram Post(10).png

Let’s talk about a better life and what we can do to help ourselves—and others.

Here it is: the new issue of the book our Steemit friend @almaguer wrote. If he can do it, so can you. It might not yield more than a chance to learn—writing, editing, reading, designing (or commissioning) a cover, creating something of your own—all because you’re already writing on Steemit every day, aren’t you? Or are you just idling around bored? If you’re going to write, you might as well type something meaningful, or intriguing, or something that might help someone sooner or later. When it comes to books, there’s always something that will resonate with someone.

El Amor... es un perro del infierno...

Of course, why not? Do you know what a hellhound is, or did you miss that part of your upbringing? It might be interesting to read about it. You can dismiss old stories, but they might also surprise you—because after all these years, nothing has really changed, even though we like to think we’re these super-intelligent beings who rise above everything and everyone, the best... better.

Is the hellhound a monster? At the very least, it’s the one loyally guarding the gate so no one escapes or slips in unnoticed. Sounds like an excellent friend to me. Big, strong, imposing, and loyal—the opposite of your average person and... lovers, partners.
What if the monster in the closet or under the bed isn’t the growling hellhound, but you—emerging fearfully, observed, stalking and souring others’ lives in the desperate hope of being loved, even as you know the end is near?

How beautiful would it be if we all tried our best to improve our lives today, to look ahead and forge connections with others? A friend in need isn’t such a bad thing—and you might find that friend anywhere.

Love is a dog from hell”… a phrase that hits hard, shakes you—but within the context of this book, it finds a powerful meaning: love as a wild, instinctive, uncomfortable force, yet capable of truth.

Reading this post made me reflect on why we really write. I believe that writing—at least for me—has never been just a creative act, but a way to understand myself, to face what lives inside, and to seek genuine connection.

I came across Steemit almost by chance, and discovered that the real reward lies in the honest bonds formed between writers. People who aren’t just looking to be read, but to be heard and recognized.

Maybe that’s the deeper message of the book: not to tame the hellhound… but to learn to walk beside it.
And you? Can you already hear it growling inside… or not yet?

The Hellhound. You need a strong and loyal one, someone you can rely on. Not the dog at the lap or the one that can be distracted with a leg bone 🤭
Hear I something growling inside? Give me a bite and I tell you.
😁

I was invited, you came across, we write because we feel the need so rarely out of words, althoughit might be a search for the right ones... Without vommemts and connection it's a lonely ride.

I feel infinitely blessed. You write and you are tireless, which motivates me to create as well. From the wonderful real to the real and latent help. You are like a lighthouse among so much darkness. I hope these projects bear fruit, so much to create. At least we learn every day and that is really priceless. And by creating and sharing we meet friends, no matter the latitude, that's what makes us sensitive beings who appreciate art.
This hellhound that unites us. It is an indelible sample of the vicissitudes of life, that crude reality that we obviate and that belongs to the environment. Those beings who live in the shadows and who think that their life is a haven of anguish. That strong, loyal dog finds hatred and lovelessness in the eyes of those who forgot to love and go through life with a hole in their soul.

It's good to have you around. Writers are rare, artists are. We easily forget who we are and try to fit in but the fact is being liked and understood will never happen if we give up on what inspires us and is who we are.
To some it's a dog from hell to me it's the hellhound which are definetely not the same species.
Wherever it trots, it will be welcomed and if it comes to 'hole in souls' they can be filled. Creativity is the key and inspires — who kniws it creates a new wave.

Thank you for inspiring me and putting it in words — ink and paint.

Or are you just idling around bored?

I will select that. It sounded funny when I read it. LOL..

But, with all seriousness,

If you’re going to write, you might as well type something meaningful, or intriguing, or something that might help someone

This is exactly what I was saying. I do write posts and try to achieve that. When I finish, I evaluate if it might help someone in the future, then I might as well re-blog myself. To make it easier for someone to find if I thought it was meaningful.

I like your post and I think I will check it later to see what others think as well...

(the opposite of your average person and... lovers, partners.)This phrase is very true , sometimes dogs are more loyal than some people or partners.
When the person we love fails us, distrust grows within us. Nothing is the same. Falling in love again is incredibly difficult, since, whether we like it or not, the trace of betrayal is always there.
