Creating Bonds (Steemit: Future x White Paper)

And? Did you found the solution to grow? I mean inner grow, the richdom you feel if you are satisfied or feel good about yourself, the day you had and those days ahead? Did you make plans and will you realise them or say: What's the point I am never lucky unlike others.

Do you remember what your situation was one year ago? Do you remember what Steemit looked like and do you notice the differences? What did you invest and where will you go to if there are no longer upvotes? More than once this has been discussed in Monkey Business and only a few dared to answer and said they would stay and those same few also said the first thing they do is grab their phone and check the notifications.

I am curious.

What is it you check? The replies? I assume not since the comments dropped drastically and after a week of talking with a witness — showing interest in how Steemians feel and tip toe around too scared to loose an upvote or not be liked— I can only conclude that:

  1. The average Steemian is not interested in bonding or investing in this platform
  2. S/he doesn't comment, reply, shows interest in what is read
  3. At most a handful of people know what happens behind the screens of Steemit (the platform not Steemit Inc)
  4. Steemians are badly informed and if the blocks of the blockchain are gone they will be the last ones noticing it.
  5. There's no way this platform is promoted and noticed because no one knows what it stands for and sorry, people but it's not meant to provide you with an income. This is NOT the idea behind Steemit.
You all have to take care of yourselfs! If you can't create a bond with others, if you are too selfish to use your free upvotes you will never succeed —unless you beg or steal!

Do you know what is written in the 32-pages Steemit White paper? Do you know what the conclusion is?

So the question is:

How will we fight the ignorance and promote Steemit, the place many of you badly need to make an income. Anyone?

I find it exciting to see the connections and contacts that have been made in the almost 4 years that I have been active on Steem. Some have continued in real life, most have remained virtual. Some of them are very intense and long-lasting, others are more superficial or temporary. All of this has its justification and added value. I like ‘my people’ on the Steem. I don't care about the others who are on the platform for purely material reasons. Let them do it. I think we have to live with that - in the spirit of freedom. Not everyone has the same priorities. That's fine.

I made a few good friends and still have contact outside this platform nearly daily.

We can live with everything especially underneath our stone or if we ignore and look the other way. Who cares right? A great week ahead. I wonder: is it fine to farm, scam, hack, commit plagiarism (many ministers do this) and use AI to write in the spirit of freedom? The AI comments increasevagain. I wonder what causes it.

No!! It is beneath all dignity, miserable and indecent. But I really do think that - on a decentralised platform like this - no user or community has the right to act as judge or enforcer. In my view, the community should ‘vote with its feet’, i.e. avoid and ignore such posts and users. In addition, the technical and formal organisation should be such that it is not possible to profit from such practices. Vote bots, bought votes etc. could certainly be excluded somehow. It is regrettable that there is a conflict of interest here, but it can hardly be changed.

Personally, I'm more annoyed when I don't realise that a post is plagiarised or largely AI-generated than I am about the fact itself. In other words, I see the responsibility for dealing with it as my own. Respectively on each individual user. But not that of any authority whatsoever.

If it comes to AI text that battle will be lost. Although not with everyone, AI is the writer and the translator and the editor.

Next, ifyou let AI edit what it did edit or wrote it edits again. If I may believe the writer's world a real writer can hardly be found. Lately I saw a writer on Amazon with 30k books! So the ghostwriter is jobless as well.

If I ask AI about my texts it's akways Kafka with a mix — or it gave up on me 🤣

I feel empathy with some users, in fact I consider some of them my friends, virtual ones, but loyalty is what I have for them, I know that my vote helps a user so I try NOT to go to sleep with all the voting power, it's what I do besides being active, I feel good on the panel, I would like to win more hahaha, but there I go adding

More time would be great and like you I vote a lot. Yesterday it was too much,my VP was very low but it's good to give to those who deserve it.

I hope this votes helps. A good Labour Day!

This one of the heartwarming content I have read
The question are there and the answer are in your heart. People only value their self and don't mind what happened to others

Do they value themselfs or are they short sighted? It feels to me it's not smart to not feed and pet the dog that keeps you safe and can even help you grow.

Any suggestions how we can change this — even if it's not out of love but gain? (not that love is no gain).

🍀♥️

it is so heartbreaking how often people prioritize short-term self-interest over long-term connections, like neglecting the ‘dog’ that guards and enriches their lives with safety. Maybe the shift starts with framing care as an investment, not just kindness. For example

Shared gain: Show how helping others in terms of mentoring, fair wages and others can boosts productivity/trust, benefiting everyone.

Visible impact: Use stories/data to prove collective well-being = individual success (e.g., healthier communities = lower crime).

Small steps: Encourage reciprocal acts—even selfishly, people may realize ‘feeding the dog’ ensures their own safety.*

Love is the deepest gain, but if appeal to logic opens the door, hearts might follow."

I like what I see in the photograph. The questions are there. The answers will be found one of these days among the yellow flowers. The house in the background is a beautiful representation. Does this one have a basement?

No basement, no potatoes can be grown but there is a well.. And there are frogs 😁

In China they eat frogs, boiled, jjj. How is the life of frogs in your latitude?

 25 days ago (edited)

We ate frogs too. I remember it from my childhood. Later it became forbidden and today frogs are protected animals just like foxes.

Today they want to make us stop eating everything.

A few years ago I told the frogs to shut up because if the noise they made. They did. I never heard them again but hey, they are back. I prefer frogs above pigeons. They never shut up not to mention the shit and diseases they spread.

I'll check the steemit whitepaper soon

Pemandangan dan suasana yang sangat indah.

You talk about the landscape and didn't read. Is this the idea of the SEA project's way of commenting @husnie. plb? I noticed your average comment is 4-5 words. You do not add value to the post like Steemit asks from commenters.

Can you explain to me why not?
Are these too many comments, are you not interested in reasing others, connecting? Since that is what this post is about.
You will not receive upvotes if no one believes you are worth them.

Take an example of @ronnie10 or @aneukpineung78

Terimakasih atas perhatian dan koreksi nya kepada saya, kebetulan saya pendatang baru disini jadi masih banyak terdapat kekurangan disana-sini. Kedepan akan kita usahakan lebih sempurna seperti yang Anda inginkan. Salam Hormat,

I know you are new and hope you find your way, a speedy growth included.
Blessings to you.

I guess we are going to take off the commenting criteria, since some new comers, I think, are learning by doing, but at least for me, they comment.

Really..? Are you going to keep this program without a challenge?

I think part of learning is commenting, because it takes time. And what could be teaching users to use a platform better than consistent usage of it?

Just questions.. But, I think you and @wakeupkitty might have broader idea to it.

It's not my program and if you never learn how to write and comment and moreover are willing to invest in a platform but do expect others to give you upvotes, I have serious questions. Why should anyone be willing to give an upvote to those who never comment or better engage? That will not me. I can even tell you that those who all of a sudden start talking to me I see as sneaky and farmers. Can be I am childish, but it's a fact that farming and draining the platform comes in many ways.

I don't believe that it will the project do any good to give up on commenting since all that is left is dropping: thanks, okay, hereby my entry. From a project, more can be expected same from the community newcomers.

It sounds to me that giving up on commenting has more to do with checking if those comments are comments for real. It would help if the tool used counted comments with a minimum of words, and next it's not too much work to scroll through the comments of an account. If you do that you can see who never comments, who does, or only if there's something to get.

I can even tell you that those who all of sudden start taking to me I see as sneaky and farmers

There has to be a first time for everyone to talk to someone. Or, it could be what you have just said!

Regarding comments, you have got a point. Some comments do add value. They are not all on the same level. But, some comments do not add anything. I can recall that we have talked about this earlier at some point during the time when MWW was going on.

About being childish, I think it is something nice for one to be able to sense that they are in touch with their childish side. It sounded like a bad thing, the way you said it. But, I think it is something good at some level.

There's a huge difference between people who show interest in what you wrote or the AI-generated response or only if you are a curator. Same for only posting in my communities during that period and never leaving a comment or reply, and off they are as soon as someone else takes over. I learned from it and will not waste my time any longer on commenting and replying to those who only then show up and never read me.

Nothing wrong with being in touch with your child. I like people who still are, can play and remember how it was. I will never understand adults saying children have weird behaviour. BTW, this saying doesn't fit. Children rarely behave that weirdly as adults do. They are more straightforward, at least they are with us.

About being in touch with your child. I totally agree. But, I am not sure if adults do act more weirdly than children. Maybe they do. LOL

Regarding those who comment, I often don't reply to those who just say thank you or something as such. But, when I see someone that has spent some time in writing a reply. I make time to interact with them.

Iya, Bang. Jangan kapok. Komentar sedikit banyak memiliki aspek-aspek sebagai berikut:

  • memberi nilai tambah pada artikel, baik dengan penambahan informasi atau koreksi terhadap suatu kesalahan informasi atau lainnya;
  • memiliki kaitan dengan isi artikel, termasuk pertanyaan-pertanyaan, walaupun kadang-kadang dalam gilirannya bisa melenceng ke dalam topik-topik lain yang sama sekali berbeda;
  • bukan komentar hit and run, artinya setelah meninggalkan komentar ala kadar, lalu tidak menanggapi balasan yang mengharapkan tanggapan, seperti pertanyaan atau ajakan;
  • dan lain-lain,

Intinya: engagement (terbangunnya suatu komunikasi), bukan hit and run.

Everything is possible if..
