Is writing easy....?

No. For me, writing is not an easy task. In fact, it is so difficult that the task here was to "share your thoughts on writing". After seeing that, I thought for a while about what to write. So is writing easy..? Writing is easy if you write without any purpose, then writing is easy. I mean writing that has no consistency, no meaning, and is not related to anything is easy. Before writing something, you should think about it carefully. Does what we write fit the theme..? We should think about whether what we write is easy for someone else to understand, does it have meaning, and is there something that can be learned or applied in life through writing.
Most of the time, it is difficult to write something thinking about that. It is more difficult to create a theme for yourself, create questions for yourself, and write about them than to write answers to a question you have heard. Because most people are used to not writing something thinking. They write something memorized as an answer to a question they have heard.
It's really hard for me to writing something after tthinking that. It's easier for me to write in response to a question someone has asked. That's why I participate in contests on this platform that give such questions. But I have seen authors with very good writing skills on this platform. They share very good creative articles on this platform. Anyway, I'm not good at writing.
Whether it's a novelist or a short story writer, they spend a lot of time and effort to create a good work for people. Creative novels and short stories are created as a result of a lot of sacrifices and efforts. They are often based on their real-life experiences and true events.

If we look at it from as just writing in general. Everyone can write. It should be fairly simple task to write something. But, if we are writing something that might require us to organize our thoughts and we put the reader in perspective. It will take a lot of time to write something that is both appealing and has a point. So, here is a question to random writers... What's the point of writing something that doesn't add anything to anyone? Right?
There is no point in writing something that does not add anything to anyone. Because whether what we write is a post or a comment, it should be something with new ideas. If it is a comment, there is no point in writing a summary of what is in the user's post.
I wonder why you are on this platform if you find it hard to write? Can you tell me what your niche is? There are plenty of other things you can do except for writing. if I read you it shows so my advice to you is to give up on writing that many words and do what you like most. You can take photos and add a few words, share videos, and so on. There's nothing wrong with that and this platform is different from what tis was one year ago.

What I really meant was that it takes me a long time to think of something and write, so it's difficult for me. That's why I participate in contests more. I can answer the questions asked in them well and it's easy for me. But I can easily share my experiences and events.
so why not take a question out of the news, what a child asks, the woman on the market and write about that? This means you are not a writer which shows. What is your niche, what your interests? That's what you should show.
Also, if you want to improve you should work for it and not stay in the same loop and take it the easy way by filling out questionnaires.
Take photos, share music, film, books. there's plenty to talk about.
We all question, wonder, dream, talk... Why not write about that?
Yes, you are right. I thought about that too. I thought it would be good to write about my experiences, events that happened in my life, and also true events that happened to someone else. And if you talk about a feeling or event you can also give it a twist. You can write in an entertaining way, add irony, sarcasm or use it for a fictional story or find a video with the topic and share that. There's so much more than just writing.

The only thing you need is: observing - awareness - fantasy, all little children have that. Did you loose it when you grew older?
Try to wear a different hat and look through the eyes of a child, dog, elderly (be the actor).

I don't use Telegram or Discord. I have seen that is used before for online communities. But, for me it feels complicated when all information are not in one place. For instance, I have seen some online games before having Discord, Twitter, Instagram...etc. Sometimes, there are information that are found only in one of these places. It is a lot of unnecessary work. But, you may get a better answer from someone who is using them.

We can write in many ways and I find it a pity that more and more people can hardly hold a pen let alone write with a fountain pen. Writing is art but so is writing letters like calligraphy. Did you ever try it?

This topic has got me thinking... how to write? I write what comes out of my feelings, I express it as I feel it, and I write it down.
I don't know the rules to be a good or bad writer, I just like to put between the lines what comes out of my thoughts.
I like free writing, which doesn't have any signs to start or questions in a systemic way to answer. But the writing that is telling, is pointing out little by little the idea of a theme.
My own way of seeing the world. I know it is not the same as many others, but it is my way of interpreting things and that is how I write.
I write what I am, how I am, and how I feel. My experiences, my dreams, my sadness, and of course my joys.
I don't know, I don't want to find out, I just like to write and I do it. As it is.

Writing by using your feelings is freewriting and what many artists do, same for painters. It saves you from copying others, using AI and breaking your brains. Next to that there's a personal touch which can be felt very clearly and makes it a better read.
I have never considered myself a writer because I have never dedicated myself to finding out what a writer does, how he writes, or what a writer looks like. I have simply read short stories, stories, and so many works by writers that have pleased me and set my mind flying. That is what I write, the imagination, the flight, the invention of my mind and the feelings of my heart.

Ummm.. I am not aware that there were rules to it. The more you write the more organized your thoughts become. You get a booster when you read as well!
AI has rules if it comes to writing and if you study literature you will see that writers are labelled as well same for painters and other artists because humankind seem to have it hard if ti comes to those doing it their way and adding a personal touch.
The only rule is, if you want to be read, how can I attract someone to read me.

Each person has his or her own way of being and many do not have the capacity to imagine or find it very difficult to imagine because it does not exist in their personality. Why is that? I have never known.
It is a characteristic that develops in our mind and we take it very seriously. And then we translate it on sheets of paper or on screens.
It is like sowing and then watching it grow, bear fruit, and harvest. It is something very similar. Because in my mind when I sow I think of the probable future of that plant, it gradually emerges its destiny, just as the content of my writing sprouts from my mind.

Menulis itu bagi kita semua sangat mudah, tetapi yang membuat susah itu adalah diri kita sendiri, susah untuk berpikir apa yang akan ditulis. Dalam sebuah penulisan itu membutuhkan kualitas penulisan, bobotnya, tujuannya dan sertakan imajinasi yang akan kita tulis. Kita selalu bahkan banyak yang menulis asal-asalan.
Seorang pengarang yang menulis sebuah buku tidak akan siap dalam satu hari, karena dia memikirkan kearah mana karangan ini, ke lingkungan apa, serta sasaran pembacanya siapa, serta memikirkan penulisannya itu tidak melanggar hak cipta, serta tidak sama dengan penulisan lain.
Kita selalu beranggapan, untuk apa memikirkan sebuah tulisan, sekarang sudah ada AI yang akan membuat tulisan, tinggal kita baca ataupun tinggal dicopy paste dan jadikan sebagai penulisan kita, itu perbuatan yang tidak baik, bukan sikap seorang penulis. Kita memang dianjurkan untuk mengikuti teknologi, tetapi letakkan sesuatu pada tempatnya.
Menulis itu erat kaitannya dengan membaca dan saling ketergantungan, maka dari itu banyaklah untuk membaca dan lahirkan sebuah penulisan kita sendiri dari yang kita baca.

A writer writes for others to read his/her work so he/she should always have the spirit of reading other people's work too.

Good thing you had and have the help of a mother educator. Now you must do it on your own, you must write what you imagine about a topic. I like freewriting because it makes me think about all the things I have been through and I can filter into my mind and write openly about one of many topics.
I recommend you blow your mind when you write and then read what you have written. You will feel like a great content creator.
According to statistics, more than 700 people do NOT know how to read or write, which is quite sad nowadays with so much technology that helps people learn even from home.
We learn to write at school, then it becomes an everyday thing, although we write on our devices, we also use a pen and paper on some occasions.
Now, let's talk about writers, these people with their talent leave their essence in what they write, let me explain: You start to look through a book, somehow you realize that it corresponds to X or Y writer, why does this happen, because of the way they express themselves, when we write we let more of ourselves be seen and I would say that it is more authentic than talking to a person since we realize that they are lying.
What you write CANNOT be refuted, let me explain again: We write something, we send it to a person, time passes, this person tells you, YOU wrote this and now you say exactly the opposite, ¿ how do you refute this? The evidence is there, so writing is a way of expressing ourselves but we also have to take into account what we write since the evidence remains.
When we write part of our life is exposed, by our experiences expressed, by the way we write what happens to us, and how it happens and also by so many other things that we capture in lines.
I can tell you that I have said things that “a posteriori” I don't remember that I said them, I have also written things that I don't really remember when I imagined them to be written. I don't remember the moment, I don't remember the handwriting I used and I don't remember why I wrote it.
I can tell you that it happens to me often. What I can faithfully tell you is that I don't plagiarize writings, I just forget that they came from my mind.
illiteracy is also increasing in our country and the number is much higher than 700 (250,000 in the Netherlands! and 3,3 million of 16+ years can hardly read and write!).
The reason? Most illiterates are foreigners and although they go to the same school, get the same opportunities, no, even more opportunities and extra lessons, they simply do not want to learn. They prefer to skip school, are always late, make the streets unsafe and brag that they can do just fine without education. If in addition, girls and women are not allowed to go out on the street and are kept at home despite the compulsory education law or are forbidden to learn even if they are very intelligent, then it is not strange that illiteracy is increasing. In addition, working with a tablet and computer is also the cause. If children do not learn to write first with a pencil and then with a fountain pen, writing, just like handwriting, is never developed. Typing often means that words are automatically completed and in addition it is looking at pictures and tapping the correct answer. Even a job application letter is no longer written. Everything is online and only a few boxes have to be checked.

P.s If it comes to hosting a contest it depends where you like to host it. In average you have to ask the Administrator of a community. It depends on what exactly your contest will look like.
If you go to @hive-135004 (entertainment) I can pin your post and you can host (they are not very active) , If you want to post in freewriters tha's fine as well bu tI like to see a freewrite aspect and keep in mind that for free writers ther's no need to write 550+ words. We like the community to be open for everyone, no moderator reports. more commenting and focus on relaxed writing.

If it works the same way as SBI then it takes time to recharge before upvoting the next article /comment. In that sense, it would only make sense to see it passing by an article every once in a while (that's in case you have a little).

BTW it is the same for everyone who upvotes which is the reason to not post many times per day since your friends simply will not have the VP to upvote you endlessly next to that it will give them a low CSI.
I agree. But, with regards to the CSI. I don't know how does that affect. Like, what is the difference between having a high CSI and a low one? Does it make any difference?

My thoughts about writing.. umm, this is a topic that I find interesting.
I would start with, writing is incomplete without reading. There are a lot of people who wants to be writers. But, when they miss on reading, they are missing a big part of writing. There is a big difference between writing with minimal reading and constant reading.

I doubt many want to be a writer it's more that they see it as the "needed evil" a way to generate an income and if you can't write, don't like it, if your head is blank and you have no idea to put thoughts into words it's better to do something else. There's no need to write essays if you keep repeating yourself. Sharing photo's, films, or whatever the interest is with enthusiasm is wiser.
You're so write there. I came across some people who say that writing is an easy task. Just write anything. Talk about random thing that happened in your day. I mean, who cares right? But, people would still write stuff like this on daily basis. Personally, I don't mind if people put those topics in a community where everyone is sharing their day to day life. But, there are other communities where others are trying their best to make a good post. It feels silly to write a meaningless post.
I talk about random things too but still what I write looks different from what the average writes. How come? Can be it's great to read this after one year? Where are those communities where everyone tries to write something meaningful? I didn't found a single one. If it comes to it I rather see the posts freewriters come up with.
Ummm.. Ok. I think the word "meaningful" was not accurate. But, what I meant was, there are some people who write something on daily basis (e.g. daily diary or something of that sort). I don't feel that it belongs to Freewriters community. But, you are right when it comes to weekly contest. They put some prompts on weekly basis and some people are writing about all of them. It is a bit odd that many people have something to say about all the prompts. But, it is still worth more than the daily diary thing. Because, over there people write about one thing 7 days a week and repeat!
I haven't find such a community myself. But, there are some writers here who I enjoy reading.. XD
if it comes to diaries over 99% I would not call a diary and to my opinion thedairygame made a fool out of those who kept a diary. I had the "kid's dairy" and also kept a diary for my children but as they start with this and calling it a game I gave up on it. Reciting every day the same (wake up early, brushed my teeth) is not what a diary looks like or is meant for, let alone these are the diaries that add some value unless it's to fill a database keeping records of Steemians.
What makes you believe that that many have an opinion about a daily prompt and that the prompt should be used to write about? There are different ways to use it but you won't if you are not creative and believe you should write about the meaning of a word or phrase....
If it comes to the daily prompts I read those entries for many years and it is surprising what freewriters come up with...especially the freewriters from the start. What they write is refreshing to me.
I mean, I understand that some would do it for the rewards. I didn't see it in Freewriters community. But, when I joined Steem SEA. I saw some diaries over there. So, I checked the hashtag and I saw many of them.
Some threads are too good to pass. You just stop there and comment.
I believe that everyone writing thediarygame is doing it in the hope to be rewarded, highly rewarded by SC01/SC02. I read a while ago that as it started this was the case and some were even notified by SC01 they didn't posted yet but... (of course, there is a but) if you want to write people better this isn't the way and there's totally not help or interest in trying something new, How come? Who made up that only epistles of 550+ words are good or always good?
No editor would be happy to see this let alone publish it but the fact is that these were once the "rules" set to make every idiot write and if you read the entries well you see only a few are good and can be those people did develop but if that's the case why not just write the same and delete that ridiculous title and the hashtag? Would anyone use it to find your or mine diary and even if would they find it? How to find the good ones between the pile of daily entries?
You have no idea (well you have) how easily people share every fart they do and how much information is given without considering if this won't affect them in the future.
Next to that it might also be interesting to see see how many of all those diaries cover the original, funny, creative posts on Steemit and are rewarded. If you ask me this is only the case in few communities and by SCs who find it easy to click on (but if these were all film reviews visible they would do the same).
Most of the creative, different posts cannot be found in a community but are posted in a blog or in communities where the average Steemian never shows up. What does that mean?
I can tell you my answer but I am sure you already know since I only post in a few communities, never join the questionary contests and started my communities for a very good reason.
BTW: Your comments are way more interesting than the average diary. And if you can write diaries why not writing comments? If it comes to it people are lazy and do what they always do even if it doesn't reward. It's the power of promoting (see commercials) and the hope they can build a house with Steem (like 1 person could or two a long time ago).
