An Hour Of Goal Setting

Imagine, you set a timer and write for 10 minutes only...

Yes, I am a freewriter and if i write this way writing is way easier. There's no need to look up information all I do is sit down and type in the same rhythm I think. Nothing to write about? I use a daily prompt provided by @freewritehouse and that works...

I could say it works great but in most cases, I work the other way round I do not write about the prompt (a word or sentence) but I write what I intended to write about and add the prompt somewhere into my text (it's not too difficult to twist a bit and I like the puzzling aspect).

An Hour Of Goal Setting

I wish it was that easy but today I come to nothing mainly because of the day how I woke up and the cold. Cold fingers make it harder to type and so does the shivering. Do I have goals for today? Many and I started with one which took me hours:

  1. I checked if the SP delegations I did arrived
  2. I spend many hours reading and commenting in the freewriters community
  3. I filled out a sheet

I didn't really plan all of these things because what bothers me most is that if I search for #crafts and #art, I hardly find anything with a lever higher than what is shown in Kindergarten where I live (the former Kindergarten since kindergarten hasn't existed for 30 years; time flies, I can tell you that). So yesterday, I decided to do some crafts in between the rest of the goals I set and couldn't realize.

If you didn't know yet:

We-Write started again and we are Miner-WeWrite today

If you like to join us have a look at Lesson 1 where you should comment in Talkchannel (see @joslud) and show your niche with a daily prompt The great thing is you can rate yourself (tell us the reason).

A great, creative Friday everyone.

P.s. Do not complain or be satisfied if help is offered to improve yourself.

It reminds me of my school days when I used to set goals and then achieve them in a given time ie, if I had to study for a test tomorrow I used to do it, prepare my lesson and then go to sleep. This habit made me a brilliant student and school topper every year. Aha!!! Those golden days! 🥹

Did they feel like golden days back then? Trust me in ten years you will say that about today and if you set goals and stick to them you will sleep with peace of mind and be the same brilliant student again. 😎

Wow..... Great piece up there.
It's quiet easier to get things done when you are able to set a goal and time yourself.
Quiet often, we are always very busy. But when you are able to dedicate just few minutes out of your time to do certain stuffs and you're committed towards it, trust me there's nothing you won't be able to achieve.
Everything is possible. Time is key.

It's also eaier if no one interrupts (like the cat right now).

Ha ha ha ha...... Please allow my sweetheart to enjoy her moment. I wished I can have one too.

Remember the old days looking at the alarm clock

Ha ha ha ha...... Yeah. But for some of us who grew up in rural areas, before we were opportune to have such technologies at our disposal, the cock 🐓 used to be our natural alarm then.

I never had one and till wake up in time.

Wow. Really?
That means your body system is self-programmed.
I used to be like that too during my university days where I always programmed myself to wake up at specific times. Though sometimes I do set alarm, but in most cases, I tend to wake up even just before the alarm rings. After graduating, I hardly have that self-programmed system to wake up.

not only watching but also turning on the alarm clock every night and checking whether the time is correct.

(P.s. Do not complain or be satisfied if help is offered to improve yourself.) I agree with this phrase and I will take it into account

Do you need a hand? I believe you do. Don't take all the work load on your shoulders!

It's not just the work, it's been a few years and I still see a lot of zeros in the value of my publications, that makes me feel a bit depressed.

You mean publications on Steemit or at work or both? It sucks to put afford and not be read/rewarded I will not deny that.

My job is going very well, it's just that sometimes I think that people who have been in a certain community for a longer time should earn more, that their post should have a better value, it's like having a balanced scale, but well, that's what I think and it seems fair to me.
For example, Mrs Teresa comes weekly to help me keep the house perfect for about 4 years now, I give her more money when I have the chance, it's a way of incentivizing people and she does her job with more pleasure.
