Assalam o alaikum.

Afternoon tea is one of the best parts of my day. After doing housework study or any other task I sit down relax and enjoy a nice cup of tea. It gives me energy and peace at the same times. Tea is not justs a drink for me it is a beautiful moments of rest.

In the afternoon sun is still shining but slowly goings down. The weather becomes a little calm. This is the perfect time to have tea. In my home we mostly have tea between 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm. Sometimes we also have light snacks with it like biscuits cake or pakoras. I usually make tea with milk sugar and tea leaves. The smell of fresh tea makes me happy. When i take the first sip i feel comfort and joy. It’s a simple thing but it brings great happiness. Sometimes i sit with my mother or siblings and we enjoy tea together. We talk laugh and share our day. This small tea time becomes a beautiful family time.

If i am alone i like to have tea while sitting near a window or in the garden. I watched the birds look at the sky or read a book. Tea makes me feel calmed and helps me relaxed. It takes away the tiredness of the day. I think tea in the afternoon is also good for health. It helps in digestion and removes sleepiness. It gives new energy to continue the rest of the day. Some people like green tea some like black tea but i love simple milk tea.

Many memories are connected to afternoon tea. In winter we sit in the sun and enjoy hot tea. In summer we sit under a fan or near a cooler. Sometimes guests come in the afternoon and we serve tea to them. It is part of our cultures and hospitality. I remembered one special day when it was raining in the afternoon i mades tea and some crispy snacks. My family sat together and we laughed a lot. That tea time became a golden memory.

I just want to say that tea in the afternoon is a simple but special joy. It is a time to pause rest and enjoy. It brings people closer and makes the heart happy. I feel lucky to have these little tea moments in life.
