SC S25W2: Drawing Shonen Anime

Hello, it's week 2 already and I bring you the drawing of my favorite character from shonen anime genre. My sister and children made me fall in love with this movie. Before I was concerned about comedies but seeing the powerful act of Goku in this dragon balls series I started enjoying the movie with them. Now see my drawing below.

I choose Goku from Dragon Ball series. He is the main character in this shonen anime genre. Goku came as a baby to the planet earth so that he can destroy it. As a baby he was very troublesome because he chose to be a warrior. He likes making friends as well defending his people. He fought until he was declared the strongest fighter on earth. Goku adventures journey began when he met his friend Bulma they joined hands to search the dragon balls. He was continuous in defending the universe on his quest for justice .

Step 1

I started with the sketching of the hairs down to the the shape of the face.

I proceeded to the face bring the nose and eyes to be visible then the hands focusing more on his powerful muscles through the chest.

✏️ Make detailed shading (either with colored pencils or graphite pencils), which will allow you to achieve even better results. Show and explain the step-by-step instructions.

Shading the some parts of Goku hair for more clarity. I also shaded the muscles and the his warrior bango .

The final shading made everything looks more like Goku character by this time my children were happy to see their favorite, who will take it became the issue. I presented the drawing to my 9 years son.
