Diary game 3rd June 2025|| Rainy Days don't mean boring days.

Hello everyone, it's been a long minute and I'm glad to be back here to tell you all about my day and how it has gone.

The clouds have been gathering lately, who would blame it?. It's the rainy season over here. Yesterday was so sunny one would think the sun had a beef with the earth, but I couldn't utilise it as I wanted to.

There hasn't been so much to do all morning seeing that it's been raining so I fed the birds and made sure they stayed cozy. Whenever it rains, it disrupts people's order of activities. The day tends to go slower, there's just this slow, gentle feeling in the atmosphere what you can see even in the eyes of the most industrious and hardworking.

My little baby came back from school and Kick-started my afternoon. They had been given a project to make a book shelf from scratch and so we got busy. First we went online to look at samples inorder to find the type we could easily recreate. It was so amazing to see the beautiful designs and DIY stuff people were doing with as simple a tool as carton papers. First to get the dimensions right and glue it together, so on and forth😁. I had fun all through the process learning from the eyes of a child.

By the time we arrived at this result, my hands were aching and I needed a break. We hadn't started the finishing touches and it was already getting late. We quickly moved to feeding the birds as my evening routine is and then making supper. Of course we aren't through with her project work. We still have to create little books for her bookshelf, draw a female reproductive organ, and write an informal letter about an upcoming birthday, amongst other things 😂. Who knew an otherwise boring day would turn out this adventurous. Anyways, till I write to you in my next post, i'd better get back to school projects.
