"A Child, A Million smile😊 Sustainable Feeding Program For School Children In Nigeria phase 2 (Week-3)
We took the child, a million smiles project to King James international academy which is located at IKOT AKPAN in IFA ATAI ETOI UYO, Akwa Ibom state, Nigeria.
The last time we visited REMIS SCHOOL we spread joy in the face of the children's and this week again we do just the same. But before then we all made our preparation ahead of the execution. The update came late due to tight chance so I had to make my preparation the moment I received the update.
The execution time was set at 11 o'clock AM and that fall in my work hours, I had to make every possible move to catch up in time and so I did. I started my journey the moment it clocked 11 o'clock and I met with the available team at the junction that leads to the school, together we drive to the destination.
We arrived during the school leisure hours and for that the kid's were feeding, as such we needed to exercise a little patient for them to finish feeding. During their feeding period i tour around the school classroom, some were still on lecture which the very little ones were feeding.
After some minutes the staff took the kids outside and we assembled them uniformly. As we usually do in the others school, we'll first warm up the kid with a song and asked them to dance but these ones when we asked them to do the same, their response to the song wasn't much energetic.

We noticed that the kids wasn't in a really happy mood, might've been due to insufficient food in the lunch box or something else. So we proceeded with the distribution.
The school is a little populated in number and asked such we round up the whole school kid's with double package of noodles, some even received three. We also spread the acts of kindness to the teachers as well.

After the sharing we decided to recreate the dancing moment with the kid's, this was the part where the kid's surprised me, first I thought that dancing wasn't their doing but after the distribution, the whole kid's show to us what they got, they dance with hundreds percent energy.
At this point I knew that the nature of the project was well accomplished, the aim was to spark a million smiles on the kid's face but we did more than that, we spark a trillion smiles on their faces and trust me I know a trillion smiles when I see one.

Everyone around were happy, the kids the teachers and us. These profound happiness drives us to capturing ourselves exclusively with the staff. We left after receiving an appreciation words from the school head teacher and the kid's, that was how we executed this week food aid distribution.

I'm using this opportunity to appreciate @worldsmile for their generosity, continuous support and for caring about our young leaders of tomorrow. It is not easy as the economic is beating very hard on parents, trust me it's a great relief to parents whose child is opportuned to grab this free token. I'll stop here for this week.
