A Glimpse Behind the Scenes: Dedication in Motion

Looking at the picture below 👇 what can you say? Well, the picture tells us how we can forget the sheer amount of manual and administrative work that goes into maintaining academic records and supporting educational systems in this digital age that we are in.

The photos that are shared in this write-up offer us a candid snapshot from the heart of an academic office that I visited which was during the registration period. At the time I visited the office, people were going in and coming out of the office, and processing the registration and screening of credentials was part of what was going on in the office at the exact date that I visited.

From the pictures, you can see stacks of files, identity slips, handwritten records, and registration forms, which are all spread across the desk each of the stacks of files represents the academic journey of students and staff who were busy going through his phone.

With the way, files were scattered in the office, and the officer (staff) in charge showing no concern about how scattered the desk is, someone may think those in charge are not discharging their duties properly, or students' files would get mixed up. Working in an institution that is filled with a lot of students can be stressful, especially if you are in the office where registration is taking place.

It is good for us to always take a moment of our time each time we visit an institution or see someone who is working in an institution whether as a teacher, lecturer, or non-academic staff we need to appreciate them for keeping our institutions running, just like that man in the photo who was quietly behind piles of files and paper working tirelessly for the instructions.
