My daily game - Mi juego diario / (Eng-Esp)

Today has been a strong day. We had planned, my son and I, to go shopping after I saw patients. My office is not yet fully set up but the two patients I saw are acquaintances. They asked me to please see them, so I did.

As I finished seeing my second patient, the power went out. I could not finish my work. My son helped me. Since he works online, he bought himself a battery and a UPS, so that when the power fails, he is immediately connected to his internet and battery. Since my son was free I asked him to please lend me his CPU to do the patient report.

I diagnosed the patient with appendicitis by ultrasound, and I had to do his report as fast as possible for him to be treated at the hospital. My son helped me and everything went very well.

Since the power went out, we called the cab to take us to the mall for shopping.

What I really needed most was to buy the meat. I picked out the pork chops which looked big and beautiful. I also picked out some chicken breasts. Meat that I had ground up, for when I made my pasticho sauce or pasta. I also added beef tenderloin meat to my list for the steaks, and some chicken wings that we like.

After doing the math I already had the $50 I would spend on meats, so no more meats.

We went on to buy tomato sauce, rice, sugar, and pasta. We added to the list some apples and bananas and we wanted strawberries but they were horrible. I didn't buy the vegetables because they were too wilted.

Then my son went on to buy the hygiene things he needed, his shavers, shampoo, and deodorant. When I took out the bill we were almost at $90 and there were still a few things missing.

I went to buy my extra virgin olive oil, olives, and Arabic bread. That was it! We were over $100 but my son told me he still had a little money left.

We stopped by for breakfast at lunchtime, hehe. It was 12.30 pm and we were eating empanadas, very hungry, thanks to my son's invitation.

When we got home we had the electricity back on. We fixed everything and got ready to rest. Then I did the work I had left pending with my patients. I sent the ultrasound report to the missing patient.

When I finished, it was already 5 pm. Now we have to make dinner. Here we are at the distribution of the food on the plates. Roasted plantain, arepas, asadas, and roasted pork. The day is almost over, now I am going to write to have some fun on the platform, until 10 pm.

Hoy ha sido un día fuerte. Habíamos planeado, mi hijo y yo, ir de compras después de que yo atendiera a los pacientes. Mi consultorio aún no está totalmente arreglado pero los dos pacientes que atendí son conocidos. Me pidieron que por favor los atendiera, lo hice.

Al terminar de atender a mi segundo paciente, se cortó la luz eléctrica. No pude terminar de hacer mi trabajo. Mi hijo me ayudó. Como él trabaja en línea, se compró una batería y un UPS, para que cuando la luz falle, él se conecte de inmediato a su internet y a su batería. Como mi hijo estaba libre le pedí que por favor me prestara su CPU para hacer el informe del paciente.

El Paciente tenía una apendicitis diagnosticada por ecografía y yo tenía que hacerle su informe lo más rápido posible para que él fuese atendido en el hospital. Mi hijo me ayudó y todo resultó muy bien.
Como se fue la luz, nos llamamos al taxi para que de una vez nos llevara al centro comercial para hacer las compras.

Lo que realmente más necesitaba era comprar las carnes. Escogí las chuletas de cochino que se veían grandes y hermosas. También escogí unas pechugas de pollo. Carne que mandé a moler, para cuando realizara mi salsa para pasticho o la pasta. Además también agregué a mi lista carne de solomo de res para los bisteces, ah y unas alitas de pollo que nos gustan.

Después de sacar las cuentas ya tenía los 50$ que gastaría en carnes, así que ya no más carnes.

Pasamos a comprar la salsa de tomate, el arroz, el azúcar y la pasta. Agregamos a la lista unas manzanas, cambures y quisimos fresas pero estaban horribles. Los vegetales no los compré porque estaban muy marchitos.

Luego mi hijo pasó a comprar las cosas de higiene que necesitaba, sus afeitadoras, champu, y desodorante. Al sacar la cuenta ya casi llegamos a los 90$ y aún faltaban algunas cosas.

Pasé a comprar mi aceite de oliva extra virgen, aceitunas y pan árabe. Listo! Nos pasamos de los 100$ pero mi hijo me dijo que aún le quedaba un poco de dinero.

Pasamos a desayunar a la hora del almuerzo, jeje. Eran las 12.30 pm y estamos comiendo empanadas, con mucha hambre, gracias a la invitación de mi hijo.

Al llegar a casa ya teníamos la luz eléctrica de nuevo. Arreglamos todo y nos dispusimos a descansar. Allí luego hice el trabajo que me quedó pendiente con mis pacientes. Le envié el informe ecográfico a la paciente que faltaba.

Al terminar, ya eran las 5pm. Ahora hay que hacer la cena. Aquí estamos en la distribución de los alimentos en los platos. Plátano asado, arepas, asadas y cerdo asado. Ya el día casi termina, ahora me voy a escribir para divertirme un rato en la plataforma, hasta las 10 pm.
