The Diary Game: A Story telling Experience of a Farmer in my Home Town (6-09-2025)

LAZY FARMER..
"The farmer, Sinha, was incredibly indolent. Despite having fertile land, he only farmed crops on a portion of it due to his indolence. The roads became muddy one night after a heavy downpour. It had rained, which made Sinha very happy. The following day, he was to water the crops. He did not have to water them, though, because the crops received enough water due to the intense rain. But after the rain, he wanted to evaluate the condition of his fields. In addition, he needed to sell two loads of hay at the market. He stayed at home because the roads were muddy.
After two days, he made the decision to visit, and by then, he hoped that there would be clean roads. The roads were still a little muddy, though, even after two days. Still, Sinha rode a horse-drawn cart to the market. He sold the hay, and the road to the market was decent. He then drove the cart towards his fields along the country road. But there was standing water on the muddy, uneven road. Sinha drove very slowly so he wouldn't get dirty. The wheel of the cart, unfortunately for Sinha, sank into the mud. He attempted to push the horses in order to push the cart. The wheels dug deeper into the muck the harder he tried.
Looking around for help, he got off the cart to inspect the sunken wheel. Help was difficult to come by, though, because nobody ever travelled the country road; everyone preferred the market road, which was far superior. Sinha began cursing himself for choosing the wrong path. The sky suddenly filled with dark clouds, giving the impression that rain was imminent. "Hell, there is no one to help me," yelled Sinha after losing his temper. "Sinha, unless you attempt to pull the wheel out on your own, no one will assist you," he heard a loud voice from the sky.
LESSON LEARNT
It dawned on Sinha then that he had done nothing to free the wheel from the muck. Then Sinha untied the horses from the cart. He knelt down and attempted to remove the wheel. He struggled for several minutes before he finally managed to pull the wheel out of the muck. He pulled the wheel out, using his shoulder to support the cart. Sinha realised then that he had succeeded because he had made an effort. Sinha was a different person after that incident, realising his foolishness.
