Contest | World Refugee Day
Hi everyone, I will participate in Contest | World Refugee Day by @ripon0630 this time I will participate. I would like to invite @beemengine , @monirm @kamrulkhan to participate in this contest
In my opinion, a "refugee" is a person or group of people who are forced to leave their home, homeland, and entire life due to war, conflict, natural disaster, persecution, or other humanitarian crisis. They do not want this situation, but circumstances force them to save themselves and their families to a safer place. Refugees not only lose their homes, but also their sense of security, identity, and even the future they hope for.
World Refugee Day is observed on June 20 each year. RMDM is not a universally big deal in my country but there are a few humanitarian bodies and social groups who arrange activities to inform the public about what happens to refugees. They organize, raise money and campaign for solidarity that the society empathizes more and takes the situation of our displaced brothers and sisters seriously.
Germany is one such country that is widely known for hosting numerous refugees. When the Syrian began, Germany was among the European countries to open its doors to hundreds of thousands of refugees from the Middle East and Africa. Today, the German government and society are still grappling with how to integrate refugees into social and economic life, with mixed success. Language, work and cultural integration are obstables in their own right, however many refugees are slowly picking up the pieces with the help they can get.
Among vulnerable populations by refugee children is particularly at risk. They don’t get to have a childhood, which should be joyful and educational. Many become separated from their families, lose access to school and even experience profound psychological trauma. Living in refugee camps is uncertain and limited in terms of facilities. This can lead to long-term effects on their mental and physical development.
"Stay strong. You are not alone. The world sees your struggle and there are still good people who care. There will always be hope as long as you don't give up. May peace come soon and your life be full of color again."
