🏵️THE DIARY GAME 🏵️

The day was the one before the exam. I woke up early in the morning and went straight to college. There were fewer students in both shifts today, so we were all asked to go to the Science Building, where our classes were held.

From the Science Building, if you look down, you get a beautiful view. The college’s white vans are usually parked here. There are a few trees beside the buildings, and they enhance the beauty of the entire place. In a word, it creates a truly enchanting atmosphere. When I came to this building for an early morning class, I captured that beautiful view on my phone. It felt great to frame such a lovely scene. After that, I went to class.

When I entered the class, I saw that the teacher had already started. Today’s lesson was mainly about how to write answers in the exam to get good marks. Alongside that, the teacher gave us some suggestions for the upcoming exam. The suggestions seemed quite standard, and I had also guessed at home that the questions would come from those topics. Then the teacher told us to take note of these questions after the test exam was over, because questions in the board exam usually come from them.

After class, I came outside. Near the wall, I saw a wall art featuring a logo — a popular spot where everyone at college takes pictures. Today, just for fun, I stood there and took a photo myself.

After class, I went in front of the canteen and had a light snack. During college hours, this area in front of the canteen is usually very crowded. Everyone gathers here after their classes and sits around chatting. In a word, it creates a lively and pleasant environment. Anyone passing by might even feel that a festival is going on here.

While we were standing there, an elderly man approached me and said that his young daughter had been admitted to the hospital and urgently needed blood. Hearing this, I told him, “Let’s go to Badhan.” Badhan is a club that arranges blood donations for those in need. I had donated blood through them once before. After we went to Badhan and talked to the brothers there, they immediately started searching for a donor. Soon, they informed us that they had found a match. Upon hearing that, a look of relief appeared on the man’s face. He then took the donor and left for the hospital.

After that, we went out looking for a place to stay, because I’ll need to stay in a mess for the next two months. Since the college will be closed this month, now is the perfect time to find a place — otherwise, after Eid, it will be almost impossible to find accommodation. While searching, we came across a friend’s mess. Based on his suggestion, I went to see the room. I really liked it — the environment seemed livable. After checking all the necessary details, I confirmed that I would move into his room. After Eid, I’ll shift there.

While I was out looking for a place to stay, a brother kept calling us repeatedly. He had come from Rajshahi University. He was here to drop off his sister. Since I’m the class captain, he mostly communicated with me regarding everything. After that, he came to the college with the girl, and we went to the department together. I spoke to Salman and the others about her academic matters. At one point, ma’am told her to submit the assignment, and she was asked to turn it in within this week.

I explained everything to her in detail and also gave her the questions she needed to answer for the assignment. After that, we all went to the college gate, where we took a group selfie together.

Once everything was done, I returned home. After taking a shower and freshening up, I had my meal and did some work on my phone. All in all, today was a very busy day. Helping a father who came to seek blood for his child gave me a deep sense of peace — a feeling that’s hard to express in words.
