Hello..!!
My Dear Friends,
I am @tanvirahammad10 from #Bangladesh 🇧🇩
Hello my dear steemit friends. I hope you are all well by the grace of Allah, I am also well Alhamdulillah. I am here with a new post again, welcome to my new post, I hope you will like my post. The post is about The story of coming to Dhaka after spending a long time at home so let's start........

It was the 16th of April. Eid had passed quite a few days ago, but I still hadn't returned to Dhaka. Meanwhile, college had already reopened. So, traveling back to Dhaka became absolutely necessary. After getting everything ready, I left home early in the morning on the 16th, heading towards Dhaka.

After leaving home and getting close to Kotchandpur town, the car started signaling for fuel. Since I was driving all the way to Dhaka, it wouldn’t be possible to go without refueling. So, we decided to fill up the tank right away. We refueled with 5000 taka worth of petrol. It was from a fuel pump we were familiar with — the same place where we usually refuel our bike.

After refueling, we resumed our journey. Since it was early morning, the roads were empty. On both sides, tall trees stretched their branches over the road, almost covering it completely. Looking ahead from the car, it felt as if the road had a natural roof made of leaves. The early morning atmosphere was truly beautiful, and we kept driving while chatting happily.
My brother was driving in the front seat, my sister-in-law was seated beside him, and I was comfortably seated in the back. As morning broke, the scenery looked even more mesmerizing. We kept driving while enjoying light conversations. All of us were thoroughly enjoying that time. I even took a few selfies inside the car with my phone — the inside of the car looked really beautiful in that soft morning light.

The environment on both sides of the road was breathtaking. It felt as if we were getting lost in the embrace of nature while traveling by car. Continuing this way, we eventually reached a new road. This road was especially beautiful and appeared just before reaching the Padma Bridge.

After traveling for a while, we arrived near the Padma Bridge. The construction of this bridge has been a great blessing for us. Thanks to the Padma Bridge, there has been a revolutionary change in our transportation system. Now it doesn’t take much time to travel from our home to Dhaka. Previously, we used to suffer a lot due to the ferry delays, but now we no longer have to endure that hardship. In short, the Padma Bridge has significantly improved our quality of life.
However, we had never gotten out of the car on the bridge before. Today, we thought we would get off on the Padma Bridge, so we started pulling the car to one side. Just then, we saw a police car coming from behind, signaling us and announcing through a loudspeaker not to stop there. Immediately, we decided not to stop and continued moving. Sitting in the car, I looked back and saw the police patrolling to ensure that no one gets off on the bridge, as many accidents had happened there in the past. That's why the government has now taken strict measures.

After crossing the Padma Bridge, we took the Jatrabari Hanif Flyover and reached Gulistan. It's almost impossible to reach Gulistan without encountering traffic congestion; the area is always jam-packed. We were stuck in traffic for almost two hours. After that, the vehicles started moving slowly.
Once we passed Gulistan, it didn’t take long to reach our home.

When we arrived in front of our building, we got out of the car. We unloaded all our belongings from the car and then went to park it in a neighboring building. We had to park there because our own building doesn't have enough parking space. After properly parking the car there, we returned home.
After that, we entered the house using the lift. Since it is an eight-story building, climbing by foot was not an option.

As soon as we got home, we freshened up. Then we neatly organized our clothes and took out the ones I would be wearing in Dhaka from the bag.
It felt really good to be back in Dhaka after a long time. Since I won’t be leaving before Eid-ul-Adha, I arranged everything properly, keeping that in mind.

After organizing everything, we experienced a funny incident. When we were entering Dhaka, we had to pay a toll at the Padma Bridge. Interestingly, after paying the toll, they gave us some change back. But the funny part was that they returned a five-taka note that was extremely old and worn out.
At that time, none of us noticed it, but after reaching home and seeing it, we all had a good laugh.
Overall, by the infinite mercy of Almighty Allah, we arrived home safely and peacefully. Thanks to His blessings, we didn’t face any difficulties on our way to Dhaka.
Thank you very much for reading my post, let me know how you liked it in the comments. Thanks again everyone, stay well.
