Today I will write about a popular market in our capital of Bangladesh, “Dhaka”. One of the busiest markets in Dhaka is called Khilgaon Taltala Market. Since it is located in a place called Khilgaon, the name of the market has been named after the place.

This market is very popular and is one of the oldest markets in Dhaka, so there are always a lot of people there, and many people come to visit. Another name for this market is Khilgaon Taltala City Corporation Super Market.

The reason why this market is so popular is that all kinds of things are available in this market, and the prices of the goods in this market are much lower than in other markets in Dhaka. There is a huge car park there and a parking charge of 20 takas is required to park a car there.

This market was built in 1986 on 4.5 acres of land. The market has 4 buildings of 2 floors in height, but the market is built on government land, so everything is now under the control of the government. 850 shops are registered in the market, and about 2500 shops are illegal.

The market is open every day from 9 am to 10 pm, and there is a mosque in this market where everyone prays. This market is closed for the whole day on Sunday and for half a day on Monday. The is quite wide for walking in the market. There are good public toilet facilities.

No one comes to this market to shop without eating this type of food. Everyone comes here to eat and drink, as well as to roam.

Next to the market is the main road, which is always busy, and there are always cars available for transportation.
