✅ How do you view fuel-powered vehicles in the modern world? Can you highlight their importance?

With the development of the era, there has been improvement in the transportation sector. You may still remember that before the current transportation system became popular, we used various forms of transportation including horse-drawn carriages, bullock carts, sailing boats, palanquins, etc. Which could reach our destination, but it took a lot of time. Nowadays, due to the development of technology, we have diesel and petrol-powered vehicles at our fingertips. With these, we can reach our desired place in a very short time. This reduces our valuable time. Nowadays, we cannot even imagine ourselves without fuel-powered vehicles. Eliminating these means taking ourselves to the prehistoric era. Therefore, I would say that the role of fuel oil in the development and progress of civilization is undeniable.

I am highlighting some of the importance of fuel oil: -

• Because of the availability of fuel oil, it has been possible to accelerate the development of the economy. Since the materials required for economic development can be transported very quickly by fuel oil, development also becomes faster.
• Because of the availability of fuel-based transportation, it has been possible to provide jobs to billions of people all over the world.
• It has been possible to save our time by reaching a specific place from one place in the fastest time.
• Because of the availability of fuel oil transportation, a huge transport industry has been developed, which is an example of the development of the era.
• It has been possible to reduce the distance between cities and villages due to the development of fuel-based transportation. Thus, more fuel-based transportation has a lot of importance in our society.

✅ How environmentally friendly do you think fuel-powered cars are? Explain with reasoning.

Fuel-based transportation plays an important role in our society. It is true that fuel-based vehicles are a threat to maintaining our healthy environment. According to modern sustainability standards, fuel-based vehicles help in environmental pollution in many ways. For example: -

• Air pollution-Fuel-powered vehicles run on petrol and diesel. When the vehicle runs, toxic and harmful gases like carbon dioxide, monoxide, nitrogen oxides are emitted. As a result, the environment becomes covered in smog, respiratory problems occur and acid rain is formed.
• Greenhouse gases are emitted which trap heat in the atmosphere. As a result, they play a role in global warming and climate change.
• Fuel-based vehicles have to be dug up everywhere for fuel. Due to this, there is a risk of oil spilling everywhere and there is a risk of pollution of houses and water.

✅ Do you believe that the overuse of fossil fuels could cause them to disappear from the Earth?

Yes, I believe that the excessive use of fuel oil will eventually lead to their destruction. The fuel oil that we use for cars is not available all of a sudden. It has been available for millions of years from the abundant organic matter. We are using this fuel so much that the stock of fuel oil located inside the ground is running out. We are not giving time for new fuel to be produced. If this situation continues for a long time, the fuel supply will run out. And the fuel-based cars will also be destroyed.

✅ Mention the advantages and disadvantages of fuel oil powered vehicles.

There are advantages as well as disadvantages of using fuel-based cars. I have mentioned some advantages and disadvantages below.

Advantages: -

• Fuel-based cars do not have to face any problem in getting the fuel they need. There are a large number of fuel stations all over the country, from where the cars get their fuel.
• Fuel-based cars are easy to maintain. People working in this sector can easily maintain the cars.
• The cost of fuel-based vehicles is comparatively less.

Disadvantages: -

• Fuel-based vehicles emit a lot of polluting gases and pollute the environment.
• The price of fuel is not stable. As a result, the cost of transportation also fluctuates. This creates an embarrassing situation for the common man.
• Fuel-based vehicles produce a lot of noise, which is one of the causes of noise pollution.
• Due to the smoke emitted from these vehicles, serious health problems are faced.

✅ How can we reduce the use of fossil fuels in vehicles? Are there any exceptions?

To save energy for future generations, the use of fossil fuels must be reduced. I am mentioning some ways to reduce the use of fuel.:-

• We must create interest in using electric vehicles.
• Hybrid vehicles must be used.
• We must reduce the use of personal vehicles and create a tendency to use public transport. For example, we can reduce the use of private cars and use buses, train launches and steamers.
• Ride sharing reduces the number of vehicles on the road, which saves fuel.
• We need to develop the habit of cycling or walking.
• We need to make arrangements so that there is no traffic jam on the road. Traffic jams waste a lot of fuel.
• Most importantly, we need to give more importance to fuel-efficient vehicles, i.e. bicycles, boats, and walking.
