I hope Everyone is well by the grace of Allah. Alhamdulillah, I am also very well. Today I appeared to participate in the ongoing "Papercraft Contest (Week: 13)📢 Show us your Skills by Creating any Craft with Paper" Competition in the Steem For Bangladesh Community. At the beginning of the competition, Thank you very much to moderator @shiftitamanna Ma'am for giving us such a beautiful competition. I am happy to have this nice competition. Today I will make a beautiful lotus flower using coloring paper and share it with you. So let's get started-----

Materials :

◾Pink, green and orange colored coloring paper
◾Pencil
◾Cut compass
◾ Scissors
◾Scale
◾& Glue

Step - 01

• First I will take a pink colored paper and cut a 10 cm circle and then cut it out with the help of scissors like a shape. In this way I will cut out a few more circles one after the other but the circles will be of different sizes like: 10 cm, 9 cm, 8 cm, 6 cm, 4 cm and 3 cm.

Step - 02

• Then I will take the 10 cm circle and fold it once and then fold that fold again and then fold it a third time. After folding, you will open the circle paper and see that some lines have been drawn in it in the shape of a triangle, then we will cut some of it with scissors according to those lines but we will not cut the whole thing otherwise it will not be possible to make a flower.

Step - 03

• Now, after cutting the triangle, I will hold one side of it and glue it to the other side so that it looks like a corner. In this way, I will make all the triangles like the corners of the corners, then after turning it over, you will see that it has become a beautiful lotus flower petal. Similarly, I will make the remaining circular cut papers into lotus flower petals and leave them for 10 minutes for the glue to dry.

Step - 04

• After drying, I will first place the big petal at the bottom and glue it on top and attach the remaining petals one by one, of course, you do have to glue before attaching the petals each time, otherwise they will not stick well and will fall off. Once all the petals are attached, I will leave it to dry on one side for a while.

Step - 05

• Then to make the yellow inner cover of the lotus flower, first take a long yellow colored paper, then fold it and cut one side into a long piece so that it can be given the shape of a flower. Once cut, roll it well and twist it, after twisting it, you will see that it has become like a flower and glue it well in the middle of the lotus flower.

Step - 06

• Then to make the leaves of the lotus flower plant, take a green colored paper and follow the process of before and make it like a leaf. Once made, I will stick it well under the lotus flower so that it looks like the leaves of the lotus flower plant.

• This is how our beautiful lotus flower will be made, which you can place anywhere in the room and enhance the beauty of the room. If you want, you can also make such flowers and decorate your room. I hope you liked my post.

• After watching this contest, I was thinking about what I could make that would look really nice and would also be useful for redecorating a room. Then I went to YouTube and searched for paper craft and saw a lot of videos. After watching a few videos, I came across this video of making a lotus flower. I liked it a lot, so I followed it and made this flower with some of my own creativity. It looks really good.

• I really enjoy crafting, I am very interested in making new things, and when I was making this flower, I was very curious about how the flower would look when it was completely made, and I was also a little scared that I would be able to make it well! But in the end, Alhamdulillah, the outcome of the flower I made was very beautiful and I am very satisfied with it. 😊
