Introduction

‎This place's name is Altaf Masters Ghat. A place where fishermen gather the fish they catch from the Meghna River. Mainly Hilsha fish. Later, it became popular for its beautiful natural views. People go there to enjoy the beautiful view of the Meghna. Now, it's become one of the most crowded places.

Speciality

Natural View of Meghna

The primary purpose of this place is the view of Meghna. People who can't afford to visit the beach come here to visit Meghna. Also, to the locals, this is a kind of beach for them.

Food Restaurant

There are few restaurants with catchy food. You will find there common restaurant items like Grilled Chicken, BBQ Chicken, Chicken Chaap, etc. But there is one special item, Fish Fry. This location is on the bank of the Meghna River. That's why fish is very common here, and fish is a special item.

All of the restaurants are specially decorated for photos. People go there to enjoy and catch the moment as memories. That's why all the restaurants are well decorated for photos.

There are many shops for all kinds of foods like Fuchka, Panipuri, Belpuri, Jhalmuri, Chotpoti, various kinds of Achar, etc. You will find them at a very cheap rate. This place is mainly for middle-class people who can't afford the bills of restaurants. They used to take these food items.

‎There are shops for kids also. Here, you can find toys for kids and some low-budget jewelry items for women. I noticed that many people used to buy jewelry and toys for their wives, sisters, mothers, and kids.

Rides

‎Currently, there are two types of rides. A rounded train where children can enjoy the ride. That is fully automated and runs on electricity. There is a ride named Santa Maria where people can feel the ride of a pirate ship. This is operating manually. Two guys from two sides make the boat go up and down so that people can enjoy the thrill of pirate ships.

‎I think there will be added more kinds of rides in future so that people can enjoy it very much.

Walk Bridge

‎There is a long walking Bridge for a walk. People can enjoy the view of the river and the natural beauty where farmers harvest the crops. Mainly, seasonal crops.

Bike and Car Park

‎People came here from a long distance. They came here by motorbikes, auto vehicles, or cars. There is a 3place for parking motorbikes and auto vehicles. If someone decides to come with a car there is a parking place for that too.

A mosque for praying and a public toilet are also in there. So that people can enjoy they are time without any tension.

Steam Boat

There is a steamboat with which you can go to a Small Island on the Meghna River. Many people went there to bathe in the water of Meghna and then came back with the steamboat.

Location and How to Go!

‎The main problem is the area is very urban in the Bank of Meghna, so its visitors live far from the village for a long distance. The road is also a little bit thin. But the road condition is good, though.

‎The place is located mainly on the border of the Chandpur and Lakhimpur districts. This very place is located in Laxmipur district Raipur thana. First, you have to go to a place named Hyderganj. Then, you have to pick a minor road that goes directly to Altaf Master Ghat. For assistance, you may ask locals for the location, as it is far from a civil area. But very safe. The location is 4.7 km away from Hayderganj in the southwest direction.

Time to Visit

‎The prime time for visiting this place is mainly in the afternoon and evening. If you want to see the sunset, then you have to go in the afternoon to enjoy the view of the sunset. This place on the bank of Meghna, there is a very large open area to see the view. It's a moment to enjoy, to remember. Every day, a lot of people go there to enjoy the view and spend time with joy.
