SC-S26W2/Video Editing; Split, Cut, Sort, and Duration

in Steem For Bangladesh11 hours ago

The world is updating day by day. There was a time when people used to draw on the walls of a cave. After that, the written form of language was discovered. From that time, writing and reading became the key sources of knowledge. But now we are living in a generation of video. People who can make attractive and useful videos in less time will be the most successful. This is why we must learn how to make a video more appealing and attractive.

Welcome to another week of STEEMIT Challenge, Season 26. Our honorable mentor @anailuj1992 discussed how to make our video more appealing to the viewers by CapCut in week 2.

In this episode, she discussed a few essential parts of CapCut. Such as Zoom function, edit menu, adjustment duration, sort clips, and video speed. The way she explained every single matter, I can say, I understood everything nicely. Improving of practice was nice. I don't have to explain what I have learned. Instead, I would have to show what I learned.

In my practical section, I will explain everything, why I did that, and the way our mentor would like us to do it. Let's begin.

Brief about my Original Video

It is a video of the pharmacy where I work. At the start, you can see, I am writing something. This was an order that I was noting. After that, I bring all the ordered medicine to the table. Then I calculated the price and packed the medicine and put that pack on the desk. After that, I rearranged some medicine boxes that should have been rearranged. It took a few minutes. That was the story of my original video.

Original Video

When I start editing, I open a new project and import a video. Which I learned in week 1. Then I used another tool when needed.

Importing Video

At first, I split the unnecessary parts of the original video. Deleted some of the parts. To do that, I just clicked on the video and the Edit menu appeared. Then I used the split option and cut the point I wanted to remove.

Deleting Part

After splitting, cutting, and deleting unnecessary parts, I focused on speed. I used the Speed menu various times and adjusted various speed options. I used 1x, 2x, and 5x to make my video attractive.

Adjusting Speed

In that process, I adjusted the duration. My main video was 07.35 minutes long and after adjusting, cutting, it has become 01.21 minutes.

At this point, I added the STEEMIT logo as an overlay and to do so, I zoomed out the whole video. Though I did not sort and replace any part, you can see, in this part, if needed, I could have done so.

Zoom In & Out

I hope, I did my job the way my mentor wanted me to do.

This week's lecture is very useful as I have learnt cutting small parts of the video and then using the desired clips. Best wishes for the contest.
