Application For Atlas Ambassador (Bangladesh 🇧🇩)

Assalamualaikum, dear @pennsif

First of all, I apologize for submitting my application post 7 hours late as I took some extra time to research and plan about Steem-Atlas. I am very interested in becoming an ambassador to help the Steemians of my country with posting queries about steem atlas.

A very brief summary of my Steem history

In Steemit platform, I joined on December 20, 2020. For the past 4 years, I have not been inactive on this platform for a long time without any major problems. I have been active on the platform with utmost dedication from the very beginning and so far I have fulfilled all the important responsibilities entrusted to me. I have had the opportunity to be involved with the maximum projects and curation of the steem team. I have constantly supported all the initiatives of Steemitblog and will continue to do so in the future.

I have played my most important role on the platform as the Steem Representative and Country Representative for Bangladesh. Although I have resigned from the post of Representative, I am still a leading leader among the native Steemians whom I always help to understand and grow in various aspects of the platform. In the past years, I have worked as a Curator with various teams and have gained experience in operating Sc03-Sc09 accounts rotationally in different months.

Currently, I am playing important roles in several communities on the platform. I am the Founder and Admin of Steem For Bangladesh , Co-founder and Admin of Traveling Steem Community. Also in Newcomers Community I am responsible as Greeters for the newcomers of the Bengali speaking region. Besides this, I am guiding the users in various ways and supporting and encouraging them to properly utilize their professional skills in the Steemit platform.

Details of languages I can speak and write

I can speak and write in Bengali and English. Bengali is my mother tongue, in which I can fluently help others understand any subject matter. English is my second language, in which I can write and speak like Bengali. I submit all my posts in English and if necessary I use translators and grammar tools so that I can properly convey my subject matter to the readers. Moreover, I can read Arabic which is the language of our religious book Al Quran.

I am very optimistic about steem atlas. Due to being inactive on the platform for some time, I have had the opportunity to use the tool for a short time due to being a bit late. Currently I have only one publication live using the Atlas map. I am sharing the link below:

I visit different places regularly, especially since I like the travel niche, I have many publications on the platform which I have created as examples for the traveling community. In the coming days, I will create more such publications which will be based on the map of steem atlas and will be targeted to promote the tool.

Moreover, I have a strong team with whom I will create a roadmap and create steem atlas promotion and acceptance to the native Steemians through unity. Moreover, I will present the use of the tool to the users with tutorials in the weekly guide class, so that I can easily promote steem-atlas to the Steemians of my country.

A suggestion for a new feature I would like to see added to Steem Atlas

steem atlas is quite organized and almost all the necessary features have already been included. I find its user interface very beautiful and friendly as a map tool. A user wants any tool to increase his work speed and save time. So if I think as a user, I think the feature of searching location will make steem atlas more perfect. Since a user now has to manually zoom in to find his visited place, I think it will save more time for the users if the desired location can be searched directly.

Moreover, regular meetups and meetings are held on the Steemit platform based on different communities and fan bases. So if a feature called Nearest event you is added to steem atlas, then a Steemian can easily know the location and details of his nearest small and big meetups and if needed, a feature of adding reminder system to the desired event can be added, so that on the day of the event, an automatic message will go to the user's phone number. I think this feature is very effective and very beneficial to the users. Because apart from big meetups, there are sudden meetups of 4-5 people in places like restaurants and coffee shops among the Steemians of the same area, which we see in the blogs of various users on the platform. So I think the event near you feature can make steem atlas even more unique.

how I think Steem Atlas can benefit the Steem platform as a whole

Undoubtedly steem atlas can benefit the steem platform. Users have already started using it slowly and the features like easily finding post new or old by pinning the map location will further increase the promotion and growth of the Steemit platform to the people worldwide.

Worldwide, cryptocurrency is now solving people's problems. Map is a tool which is used by all people as needed. Since steem atlas is a map tool, if there is a search option, then a common man apart from Steemian can also use it easily and can take advantage of its features, which will increase the familiarity of Steemit platform to everyone and will grow Steem. At the same time, people from different regions post on the Steem platform, when steem atlas becomes more popular over time, it will be easy to know about the different locations of users around the world. So steem atlas will definitely contribute to the growth of the platform.
