After a month of fasting, the main religious festival of our Muslims, Eid-ul-Fitr, has arrived. After a year, I went to my village to celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr with my family. The joy of celebrating Eid with everyone is completely different. All my family members, including me, came to my village to celebrate Eid.Eid means joy. Eid means eating and drinking and walking around with joy in mind. The joy of Eid begins mainly with seeing the moon in the evening the day before. Seeing the moon in the sky on the day before Eid has been a favorite of mine since I was a child. Although the joy of Eid decreases for adults with time, the joy of Eid is enjoyed by children.
When I wake up in the morning, I first wish everyone Eid Mubarak. I wake up my sons to go to Eid prayers. It is not much difficult to wake up the children on Eid day. After waking them up, I bathe them and get them ready to offer Eid prayers. The main attraction of our Eid is collecting Eid salami from everyone on Eid day. Everyone enjoys collecting salami very much on Eid. My two children are very happy to receive salami this time.

After sending the children to Eid prayers, I helped my elder sister in law in the cooking. Since we were all celebrating Eid together, the cooking was on a larger amount. We were all helping with the cooking.My mother-in-law was watching everyone's work and giving instructions to everyone. As soon as the cooking was finished, the children offered prayers and returned home from the Eidgah. Then everyone enjoyed sweets on Eid. It is our culture to eat sweets for breakfast in the morning on Eid. On Eid, everyone makes pitha puli like this.

After finishing lunch and completing all the remaining work, we all went together to the banks of the Brahmaputra river, a river near our house. The beauty of this river is wonderful. Although the river has changed its course as it has been flowing. The water in the river is low in the month of Chaitra. In the afternoon, big buffaloes and cows were crossing the river from the other side of the river (char) and returning home. We all enjoyed that beauty together.

There were fields of various crops next to the river. Farmers cultivated various types of vegetables in this field. Near the river, we saw a corn field and a potal field. To stay clear, we all got our feet wet and walked for a while. Since the water in the river was low, it was convenient for us to get into the water. After enjoying the river bank for a while, we returned home. As soon as the Maghrib call was given, it seemed to me that our Eid day had ended like today. Although I really wanted this.
