Aarong is one of the leading handicraft and art selling institutions in Bangladesh. It has a total of 29 outlets in 8 cities of Bangladesh including Dhaka, Chittagong, Mymensingh. Aarong was founded in 1978 by BRAC Director Fazal Hasan Abed. It was established for the empowerment and economic development of poor and needy women.A few days before Eid, I went to this showroom in Aarong. Since I went to this showroom in Aarong during Eid, the showroom was very beautifully decorated for the occasion of Eid. Although there was a lot of crowd in the showroom due to the influx of people for Eid shopping.
Women collection
Aarong mainly has a huge collection of salwar kameez, saree, taga, Punjabi for girls. There was a collection of girls' dresses of various designs on the occasion of Eid. Aarong mainly uses fabrics like cotton, viscose, linen, jamdani, muslin.Since it is a handicraft and handicraft selling company, Aarong's products are designed keeping in mind the local tradition. A large part of Bangladesh is the consumer of all these local tradition products of Aarong.Various types of shoes, cosmetics, bags, purses, and jute bags are also available for girls.There are both striped and unstriped products in the store.
