This tutorial is just to teach you and I can practice more deeply myself. Today I will teach you how to find the sum of numbers in a Microsoft Excel sheet on a computer or laptop. We use Microsoft Excel during various tasks. For this, it is important to find the sum from our database. Let us see from the beginning how to find the sum in a few ways.

• First, install Microsoft Excel on your computer. I have installed Excel 2016 which you can see on my computer screen.

• After opening the Microsoft Excel application, you will be presented with an interface like this. Since you will be starting from scratch, the first option you need to click on is the Blank Workbook option. This will open a new Excel workbook.

Let's now know the internal options. The letters you see above, A, B, C, D, F, G, H..... are called columns. They are used as columns from top to bottom.

• Let's now see what the letters next to each other are called. Then the numbers 1,2,3,4,5,6... that you see on the left side are called rows.

• Now you can see small boxes below or around these, these are basically known as cells. Here, when you click on each cell, the name of the cell is shown on the top left.

• Let's get started. You can write anyone's name in Excel. You can write any name from the right side of the number. That's why I wrote the first part of my own Steemit username. I wrote my name from 2 to 8, you can write any other name.

• Since I wrote the name in the letter A, I added a number or amount in the letter B. I wrote 10,20,30,40,50,60,70 to make it easier to understand.

• Now you can sum these numbers in several ways. Look at the right side of the laptop where I have marked. There is an option called Autosum which if you click on it will automatically calculate the sum. After clicking on the Autosum option, you will see that the automatic lookup result has been calculated and 280 results are showing from all the numbers.
