Today, I will introduce you to a very important device used in electrical work. We have to remove the insulation on the cable to find the fault in the electrical cable. With the device I showed today, I can see the fault without opening the insulation of the electrical cable. The name of the device is Voltage Alert Sensor. The price of the device is very low. Today, I purchased the voltage alert device from Dhaka, the capital of our country. I have shown the cost of the device and its usage below.

Cable fault finding is the most difficult part of our electrical work. If the inner core of the electric cable is cut, the power supply is cut off, and the insulation has to be found by cutting. Touching the insulation of an electrical cable with a voltage alert device will indicate the presence of voltage through an indicator light and sound. If there is no voltage, the indicator lamp will not light up. Then, it becomes easy to find the fault by cutting the insulation on the cable at that point.
Today, I went to our country's biggest electrical market (Nawabpur). Suddenly, I saw the device in a store. I found the device very cheap, so I bought it. I sat in the store and checked the device. The device can measure voltage (90-1000). We will typically measure 110,220,440 voltages with this device.
The voltage alert device requires two small batteries to run. The batteries are AAA1.5 volt. Open the upper part of the device to insert the battery. Positive and negative symbols are provided for battery installation. Two indicator lights act as device on/off and voltage indicator. The device is very important for me because I am an electrical engineer. For a power user like me, the device is very important.
Voltage alert devices reduce electrical hazards. They are very useful for those of us who fear electrical work. I came to the office and checked the voltage on an electrical line. I waste a lot of time trying to find the fault when there is a fault with a very long cable. Sometimes, a good part of the electrical cable has to be removed. But from now on, my electrical work will reduce time and cable wastage with a voltage alert device. Hopefully, electrical work users like myself will benefit from a voltage alert device. Since the device is very cheap, you can reduce electrical work risk.
