The plastering work of our house has started from today. The head mason has sent two masons and two helpers to do the plastering work. The head mason says that many people cannot work together to do the plastering work. If many people work together, the work cannot be done neatly and cleanly, and the work becomes messy. That is why two masons and two helpers have come.

Bamboo has been cut in advance for the plastering work and a platform made of bamboo has been built. These will be mandatory for the mason to do the work. The plastering work will start from the ceiling first and then the walls will be plastered. I also helped a little. I am not very good at this kind of work, but I was still trying a little. First, the walls were thoroughly soaked for the plastering. Water was given with a motor until the mortar was dry.

To make plaster, four bags of sand and one bag of cement from an empty bag of cement are mixed together. These are sieved with the help of a net to mix them better. Now the sand and cement mixed together are kept in sufficient quantity. And the rest is diluted with water. After diluting with water, chemicals are given in sufficient quantity. There is no problem if chemicals are not given. Not everyone gives them, but I have given them so that the plaster lasts a long time. The cement and sand that are mixed together are called fake sand. The function of fake sand is to apply fake sand to the excess space during plastering, that is, the place from which the cement spices fall off easily, so that the plaster is suitable. That is why fake sand is kept.

The effectiveness of chemicals and why to use chemicals in plastering:

I am using plaster chemicals as per the advice of the head mechanic. The head mason said that using chemicals in plaster makes it last much longer and does not add any salt to the plaster. Even after a long time, the plaster does not come off due to salt. Using chemicals while plastering makes the plaster set and harden quickly. The effectiveness of plaster mainly depends on the reaction between these chemical components and their proportional mixing. Mixing the components in the right proportion and maintaining the temperature and humidity of the environment is very important for the quality and durability of the plaster.

Now after wetting the sand, I and all the other masons started preparing the ceiling plaster. Because when plastering the ceiling, cement and sand mixed from below cannot be applied to the ceiling. For this, we have to make a loft or a loft, after making the loft, we all cleaned the ceiling paper nicely. After removing the paper, so that it is easier to plaster the ceiling, the high and low places of the ceiling were leveled with the help of a sandpaper.

Now the plaster work started, first, every place was made beautiful with the help of a cement grating on the ceiling. No matter how many places were left, cement grating was not left out. If cement grating is not given to the ceiling, then plastering is not possible. Because if you apply the spices, it will fall off, so you must use grating on the ceiling. After using the cement grating, the spices were started. After applying the spices to the ceiling, they were rounded with a cornice. Then, fake sand was applied to all the areas where the extra soft spices were falling off. So that the soft area becomes hard and suitable for plaster.

Finally, the entire ceiling was leveled beautifully with the help of a trowel. After leveling, all the areas where there were gaps were leveled with spices. After leveling with spices, finishing was given with the help of a trowel. After finishing, a beautiful ceiling plaster was made. To enhance the beauty of the plaster, first each area was rubbed well with foam. After applying the foam, wait for a while and then sweep the entire plaster area well with a broom. So that no sand remains on the surface, foam and a broom were used. Finally, we have a beautiful ceiling plaster.
