Dear Admin of the Steem for Bangladesh Community, I would like to express my sincere congratulations to the respected moderators and all the users. I have come to participate in the "Papercraft Contest (Week: 13)📢 Show us your Skills by Creating any Craft with Paper" competition organized by Steem for Bangladesh Community Moderator @shiftitamanna Apu. Today in the competition, I will share in my entry how I made a beautiful vase out of cardboard. Without further ado, I am sharing the steps of making my craft with you. 👇👇

✅ Present your paper craft to us in at least 4 steps.

Materials required for making the craft:

• Cardboard

• Colored paper

• Glitter paper

• Scissors

• Anti-cutter

• Glue

• Scale

I started making my craft by arranging all the materials at hand.

Step 1:

I cut four cardboards measuring 12×25 cm from a cardboard. Then I cut the cardboard 3 cm from both sides.

Step 2:

Now I glued the four cardboards together with the help of a glue gun. When the four cardboards are glued, they will take the shape of a vase.

Step 3:

I pasted the squares of cardboard I cut out to fit beneath the vase. Then I applied paper tape to the squares to make the joints of the vase stronger.

Step 4:

I mixed glue and water in a small bowl. Then I applied glue around the vase with a brush. Now I put a tissue and brushed the glue again from above. When the glue dries, the vase will be even stronger.

Step 5:

I took green colored paper and cut it to the same size as the cardboard. Afterward, I adhered the green paper to the vase.

Step 6:

I cut the red glitter paper thinly and applied it to the top, bottom, and sides of the vase. Now the cardboard vase is ready.

Step 7:

I put artificial flowers in the cardboard vase and placed it on the table. I found its final look very attractive.

✅ How did you get the idea of ​​​​making paper craft?

I love decorating and keeping my house tidy. I make various kinds of crafts in my free time and decorate my house with them. Today, when I saw some scrap cardboard, I thought of making a vase with the scrap cardboard to decorate my house. With that in mind, I decided to use the leftover cardboard to create a vase.

✅ Briefly tell us how you felt while making the paper craft?

When I made the paper craft, I was very interested in seeing its final look. It takes a long time to make a paper craft, but when the paper craft is made, all the fatigue disappears after seeing its final look. I was very happy to see that I was successful in my work. When I put some artificial flowers in a cardboard vase, the flowers doubled the beauty of the vase. When I made the papercraft and decorated the vase with flowers on the table, I was amazed because I was finally able to make the vase.

We have many things in our homes that can be reused to create something beautiful. Be it home decor or something special.
