Assalamualaikum Everyone. I am @imranhassan

How are you all? I hope you are well. I am also well today. Today I will share with you the process of purchasing and repairing electrical parts. I work as a small electrician and often have to buy electrical parts required for repairing various electrical projects or devices. Recently, I visited the electrical parts market on Chittagong Road, from where I collected some important and useful electrical items.

I collected a 12-volt battery to run a fan, a solder sucker (desoldering pump) for soldering or desoldering work, two switches and two indicator lights to fix the control circuit of the charger fan, a charger for a charger light, and a 6-volt battery to run a charger fan.

All these items will be used for future small projects or repairs. In today's post, I will discuss in detail why I collected them, what problems they will be useful for solving, and how to use them.

Market Visit Experience:

First, I went to Nekbar Ali Haji Super Market, located on Chittagong Road in the Siddhirganj area of Narayanganj. This market is about 30 to 40 years old and is a well-known electronics market for the locals. Almost all types of electronic products and necessary parts are easily available here.

Due to some messy internet and dish line wires hanging in the front part of the market, its exterior looks a bit chaotic and messy, due to which taking pictures is sometimes a bit ugly. However, when you enter it, you can see that the necessary electronics are available in the shops, and the shopkeepers are also quite helpful.

Shopping Experience and Importance of Relationship:

I have been buying electrical products from an old shop in this market for about 12 years. I have a long-standing good relationship with the shop owner, due to which I am always satisfied with the quality and price of the products.

First of all, on this visit, I bought a 6-volt battery to run a charger fan, which cost 800 taka. Then I bought a charger for a charger light for an elderly uncle, which he will use himself.

Then I collected an old rickshaw 95 amp 12 volt lead-acid battery for my sister's house to run a 12 volt charger fan during load shedding. It was in good condition and suitable for domestic use.

Finally, I bought two on-off switches and two indicator lights to repair the control circuit of another charging fan, which will help in maintaining the circuit's performance.

Next step after returning home:

After returning home, I first charged the charger light, and I can see that the light is fully charged. Earlier, I had repaired the circuit of this charger light, and now it is in a usable condition.

Then I installed a new on-off switch and indicator light in the controlling circuit of the charging fan. After connecting everything properly and turning it on, the fan is now working beautifully.

Battery connection and final work:

Then I connected the second-hand autorickshaw 12-volt, 95-ampere battery that I had bought for my sister to her charger fan and showed her how to use it. She already had a charger, so she didn't need a separate charger.

Then I installed the 6-volt, 7-ampere battery that I had bought for the charger fan inside the fan. After checking everything and making sure that the fan was working properly, I handed it over to the person who gave the fan for repair.

List of products used and purchased

Conclusion

In this one day, by buying only some necessary circuit parts, I repaired a total of four devices. I explained each device to the concerned person and took my service charge and the price of the products.

I got a total of 700 taka for these four jobs. I basically do this type of electronic repair work whenever I get time, along with other professions. This extra income helps me run my family and make myself a little more self-sufficient.
