Narsingdi Passport Office – Passport Collection Process and Information.

How are you all? I hope you are well. By the grace of God, I am also well. Today I would like to share my experience of collecting a passport from the Narsingdi District Passport Office. The passport process is quite simple, but there are some important aspects that all applicants should know.

Application Process

First, you have to apply for a passport online.. Be very careful while filling out the application form, because your father’s name, mother’s name, your own name and the name of the village must match the NID exactly in the application form. If there is a mistake in even one letter , you will have to submit a correction form, and this will delay your process.

Required Documents:

• You should keep these documents ready while applying:
  NID copy

• NID verified copy

• Online payment slip (which will be provided through bKash)

• If married, then Kabinnama

• Old passport (if renewing passport)

• And extract the challan copy from online or from the bank.

Fingerprint:

You will need to bring all the necessary documents with you when you get your fingerprints. Once the fingerprinting is complete, you will be given a delivery slip. You will then be notified via email when your passport will be ready and where to collect it.

Passport Collection:

After you have submitted your fingerprints and completed the payment process, your passport will usually be ready within 15 days. When your passport is ready, you will be notified via email, and you can go to the office to collect your passport.

Warning:

"If you use a broker to get your passport made, your passport process may be complicated, and you may not be able to collect your passport according to the correct rules."

If you are asked for additional money apart from the government fee, you should file a complaint with specific evidence.

Travel from home to passport office:

I wake up in the morning, leave the house and go to the passport office with the necessary documents, such as the delivery slip, old passport and NID original card.

Reaching the Passport Office and Waiting:

After reaching the passport office, I waited for a while before the sir arrived and spent time looking at the flowers and fruit trees around the office.

Submitting the delivery slip and standing in line:

After waiting here, we submitted the delivery slip and waited for a while, and then everyone was made to stand in line one by one.
The line on the left side of the hand was the line to submit the documents and give fingerprints, and our line was the line to collect the passport.

Passport Collection:

After everything was done, I collected the passport in about 15 days and was informed through email. Also, I cannot find any similarity between the previous passport and the current passport. Currently, the passport has been upgraded a lot. The first page of the passport has now been replaced by a hard card, which is like a driving licence or NID hard card. I am very happy to see this change, and I find it very nice.
