Eight Palestine Red Crescent Society medics were killed while providing humanitarian aid in Gaza, marking the deadliest single attack on Red Cross/Red Crescent personnel since 2017.

The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies expressed outrage at the deaths, highlighting that these clearly marked ambulances and medics, providing aid to the wounded, were unlawfully targeted.
