Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu. How are you all? I hope everyone is well by the grace of Allah. By the grace of Allah, I am also well. Today I will share about the hardships of farmers

It has been raining for the past few days. There is no sign of stopping the rain. I feel very sorry to see the suffering of the farmers in our area. It seems as if I should help all the farmers. But I do not have the power to help so many farmers. I only feel sorry to see their suffering but there is nothing I can do. Allah Ta'ala has given them trouble, Allah Ta'ala will help them.

We know that Bangladesh is an agricultural country. A large part of the economy of Bangladesh comes from the agricultural sector. Although the agricultural sector has improved, there has been no improvement for the farmers. The condition of the farmers is the same as it was 50 years ago, in fact it has deteriorated further. Those who once had a lot of land no longer have that amount of land. While paying off the loan, that land has also disappeared.

But what about the condition of the farmers who do not have land and who cultivate it by renting or leasing other people's land? Yes, their condition is even more miserable. Because, currently, to rent or lease one bigha of land, the landowner has to pay ten to fifteen thousand taka every year. Even though the prices of everything have increased, the price of rice for farmers remains the same. If a bigha of land produces very good rice, it costs 25 to 30 maunds. Does the farmer benefit from this Let's take a look at the cost of rice cultivation. Each landowner has to pay 5 to 10 thousand taka for one bigha of land every season.

Currently, the prices of agricultural inputs, labor, pesticides, and fertilizers are skyrocketing. The cost of a daily wage laborer is 800 to 1000 taka. About thirty workers are needed from planting rice seedlings to harvesting rice. Let's not forget the laborers who irrigate and look after the land. Agricultural inputs and fertilizers cost 5 to 10 thousand taka for one bigha of land. Then there are natural disasters. If you calculate all these things, the farmer has nothing left but his pawn. Again, when the farmer sells his rice, he does not get a fair price. If the government had purchased rice directly from the farmer, the farmer would have received a fair price. Despite all this, farmers are working day and night to provide food to the people of the country.

No one has any problem with farmers. But one thing should not be forgotten, Bangladesh is an agricultural country. 85 percent of the people of this country are involved in agricultural work in some way or the other. If the farmers survive, the country will survive, the wheels of the economy will be in motion.

Today I wandered around almost the whole day. Through the crop land of my area. It rained a lot this morning. Our situation has become completely bad due to the rain for the last few days. For the last few days, only rain and rain. What else can I say? I can't find any words to say it. We don't even think about farmers. They work so hard to produce crops. Yet the upper class of our society neglects them. They don't respect them. In my opinion, the only ones who deserve respect are the farmers of Bengal.

Overall, today was a great day

This was my whole day today. Wishing everyone good health and longevity. I am ending my words here. Everyone please pray for me. Greetings to everyone again Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh.
