Contest | World Refugee Day

A refugee is a person who moves out of his/her country owing to war, violence or persecution based on his/her ideas, politics or religion. They move out of their country in search of refuge and a improved life in a foreign country since they can not go back home safely.
Ye, in my country, World Refugee Day is observed. It is marked on 20th June every year in order to commemorate the resilience and heroism of refugees as well as to create awareness of their plight and rights.
Turkey is reputed to have one of the highest refugee populations in the world, particularly, Syrians because of the current conflict in Syria. Since the past years, Turkey has more than 3.5 million Syrian refugees as well as others hailing Afghanistan, Iraq and Iran.
The situation today is ambivalent. Although Turkey has offered refuge, education facilities, and health services to the refugees, most of them have encountered several problems that include lack of employment, financial strains, and inability to integrate into the society. The assistance of global entities is still vital.
Refugee children could experience a lot of emotional and physical difficulties when they leave their homes. They also tend to feel fearful, sad and confused because they are made to abandon everything they know which includes their friends, school and community. This has the ability to cause trauma and stress.
Moreover, refugee children could also face problems of interrupted education, inadequate living conditions, and inability to obtain healthcare. They may have challenges in their development, education, and general welfare that may prevent them feeling safe, secure, and with hope in the future.
Dear Friend,
I would like you to understand that you are not on your own. Despite all the difficulties you have experienced, you are an inspiring person because of your power and braveness. It is your right to feel safe, to dream and to have a better future. Do not give up, there are folks out in the world that do care, that do notice your plight, and that are on your side. Always believe in yourself. The future will be brighter and you ought to have peace, happiness and a home to stay.

Hi, Greetings, Good to see you Here:)
