Explain what you draw in your own words.

What I drew is a lady , head covered with head-tie. Leaning her chin over her hand and looking left...
She also wears a earring that's crafted as the map of Africa...

Share your drawing steps by step with us( Note this important point 👉🏽 write your username and date at any point on your drawing space before you start your drawing.)

I was making a video while drawing, wasn't really chanced to stop and take images.
Watch the video below to see complete, accurate and clear step- by -step.progress of the artwork.;

I started by drawing the head of the lady with the blue pen, but this I did it lightly and carefully since I was using the pen. Any mistake might not be erasable.

After drawing the head, I took the sketch down to the body and cloth that she's putting on, then I also did the signature design of tye cloth company on the left side of the cloth.

Pardon me @dequeen cos I forgot to write my username and date before starting the drawing.. I'm not conversant with such rules....
But I did it at the end of the drawing anyways.

After carefully crafting and sketching out the art, I then proceeded to shading the head-tie , moved down to the face,
Adding the mouth nose and eyes.
I was so happy I did make any mistake, it would have cost me another paper and time.

The method I used in shading the head-tie is called cross-hatching. And it is very effective and convenient when shading with a biro.

This is a screenshot of when I was shading the face.

After shading the face and the upper part of the drawing, I extended down to the body and clothing...
I didn't used cross hatching for the face and clothing ...
I did rough-blending for the face, the straight hatching for the collar of the cloth...
Then my final results came out like this.

How long did take to complete your drawing and how do you feel about it.

It took me about an hour, I felt a little bit tired. Plus disturbance from my friends who came around to gist did not let me concentrate and finish the work quickly... But I somehow managed to complete it...

Give us a beautiful selfie with your creation and where you got the inspiration from.
