My best photo today is the photo of this toy seller above. I took this photo from the Rangpur Trade Fair. A few days ago, I went to the Rangpur Trade Fair with my friends and after entering through the main gate, this toy shop caught my eye. I went to the fair with my friends Kawsar, Tamim and Saeed. Of course, we didn't have to buy any tickets to enter the fair that day. We were able to enter for free.
This shop had some toys for children. There was also a type of bubble blowing toy that young children play with. Basically, there is some liquid in a bottle and a handle with it, which when dipped in that liquid and blown gently, many bubbles come out. There are handles of different designs through which bubbles of different shapes come out. Some bubbles are round, some are like stars and some are like hearts.
However, we didn't get these as children, but we enjoyed it in a different way. In our area, we used to see a type of tree known as the Vanda tree. We would collect the gum that was obtained by tearing the leaves of this tree and breaking their buds in a container. Then we would make a round thing with something thin like grass. If we dipped it in the gum and blew it lightly, the bubble would inflate. However, nowadays, due to the advancement of science, small children no longer have to struggle so much.
This toy seller in the picture was looking around to call customers. Sometimes he was also trying to attract customers by blowing bubbles. The main customers of his shop are small children who come to visit the fair. Along with small children, many girls also buy these. Whenever there is a fair near my house, I also buy these and go home for my niece.
